These rocks are great -- they're smooth, well formed, consistent in color, substantial without being too heavy to work with -- and look great in my planter. I wanted something unusual for the top of my planter that would help to hold in moisture, cover the dirt, and these rocks did beautifully. They dark grey color matches the color of our polished, sealed concrete floor. Also, when I need to repot the plant or put in more dirt, removing these rocks will be easy, not only to remove, but for cleaning. Although I'm not painting these rocks, it is clear to me they would be great for that purpose. I am ordering two more sets of these rocks for other planters. Thanks.

I purchased these to paint. There were nine rocks in my order. One has a round hole in it, one is broken and two have large cracks. Rocks are decent size. If you purchase to paint be prepared to use your imagination to work around flaws.

I wanted these to go in my bird bath to give the birds some variation on the depth for their drinking and bathing. These did the trick. They are big enough for a bird to sit on (or to stack up), but not too big, and they are long and smooth, so birds aren't falling off of them. Good price for what I got. Very happy.

Nothing special. Majority of the rocks were small. They were nice and white and smooth though.

I love these rocks for painting with their dark backgrounds, smoothness but not shininess, and they are a good value.

I was very disappointed that many of the rocks were severely damaged with large chunks missing and some were severely broken, making them unpaintable, which is what I bought them for. I am returning them. Many of them were smooth enough to paint, but my expectations were that they would all be paintable. I didn't buy a bag of rocks to only get a few that were paintable. While returning customer service offered a free replacement, so I agreed. The rocks I received this time were even WORSE than the first order! More of them were broken, and more of them were so irregularly shaped they were not paintable! Don't buy them whatever you do!!

I bought these stones to lay on my black aquarium sand thinking they could be arranged in a pleasing pattern according to size. However they're all very similar in size but I don't mind because I can just sink some of them deeper - and hope my sand sifting fish don't reorganize them too badly. The stones are very black, even darker when wet. Perfect for the kind of drama and fish friendly set up I'm going for. Highly recommended.

Estan lindas para pintar y decorar (esa fue la razón de mi compra), sin embargo algunas de ellas vienen rotas y desconozco si así las enviaron o durante la transportación las dañaron. Y obvio esto mermo la,cantidad de piedras que puedo usar. Que lastima
