You see so much now days on the news that why not take a bit more precaution. This item is exactly the way they described it. Super cute and is loud. However; I don't think is as loud as I was expecting it to be. Somehow I wanted to freak me out and it didn't lol. Also, I set it off accidentally twice so I personally don't like that because it does not have a safety lock which causes accidentally setting it off specially if you have it with your keys or purse.
