We take these with us when staying at VRBOs (just in case) and they work GREAT for making safe, clean, fresh ice cubes. Love that you can just push up the bottom and they pop right out.

Such an improvement over the metal, pull back the arm to release the ice trays; only easy for arm wrestling champions! Then there were the twist plastic trays that when frozen cracked right along with the ice. Now, these stackable, lidded ice trays with the simple push-through bottoms not only give uniform, large cubes, but also the lids prevent spillage from the sink to the freezer. They are so great, I’m not having my freezer’s ice maker repaired!

Interesting concept with the silicone base, so I thought I would give them a try. Pro: Yes, the ice cubes pop out of the tray easily after a quick spray of warm water on the silicone side. I like that they are stackable. They are colorful. Cons: the individual cubes are much smaller than those of my older plastic trays. I am an ice Lover, and can easily use a whole tray of these smaller cubes in one glass. If you overfill, the water increases in volume and sticks to the lid. The lids are hard plastic that snap in place to allow for stacking trays atop each other. What happens when a lid breaks? You loose the ability to stack and I don't have the space to give each tray a separate shelf. We will see how long the lids last. The ice cube bucket sold separately is a nice idea until you think about removing all the trays sitting on top every time you want a few ice cubes. These are nice, but I guess I'm old school, as I prefer my old-fashioned hard, twist-n-pop plastic trays that make larger cubes.

These work great! No twisting, they just pop out after a brief warm up on the counter. Big, solid ice too.

I really loved this item, it comes with 4 trays for that amount of money. It doesn’t feel cheap. The silicone bottom it’s really good to take out the ice and makes it really easy , and it has the cover that works perfect if you don’t put too much water.

I needed a source of ice cubes while we waited for parts to fix our ice-maker. At first, I was a bit skeptical of both the covers and the "easy eject" silicone bases in these trays. To my surprise, both work like a champ. The covers really do keep the water in the trays until you put them in the freezer, as well as making them much easier to stack. The cubes pop right out. In fact, I usually don't even need to push on the bottoms...I just turn the tray over and dump them in the ice cube bin for later use. We've only had them for a week, so I can't speak to durability, but they function extremely well.

Due to the historical heatwave in Europe, I bought it to make ice. It is so convenient because the bottom is very soft and it is very easy to push out the ice.
