Helpful guide
This was a very helpful book. It is a great way to prepare for exams. It has detailed information about the test, as well as content that could be on it. But the best part is all of the questions in the practice section. There are a LOT of questions and being able to respond will give you the confidence needed to master the exam.

Content section severely lacking
The practice test material is great. There is a content section in the first 1/4 of the book that is severely lacking in information. When going through the practice tests and rationales, I tried to reference back to the content section to get a better overview of topics, but most of the questions in the back are not covered in the content section whatsoever. Kinda frustrating. Would've liked more information in the content section rather than just having read through all the rationales to gather all the information the book is trying to teach you.

Not the best resource out there
I usually don’t write reviews, but I was really disappointed with this resource. It was an impulse buy, and I wish I’d researched more before using it as my primary study tool. The review test questions didn’t align with the CEN format as well as those from the ENA or Pam Bartley’s practice questions. For instance, these tests included many “NOT” questions, which I hadn’t seen as frequently in other practice resources. Additionally, there was a heavy focus on pharmacology, which, while important, wasn’t the most effective use of my study time. The content portion was basic and lacked insight into how the CEN actually tests this material. Eventually, I switched to Boswell, Pam Bartley, and ENA resources, which I found more memorable during the exam. I did pass, but I believe my score would have been higher had I used other resources sooner. There were also several grammatical and formatting inconsistencies in the book, which didn’t inspire much confidence in its quality.

Easy read, to the point, old school downloads
It's trustworthy content. Comes with 6 tests with reviews of all areas, comes with downloadable audio but difficult to pause and know where to go back if you have to stop and start in another time or day since it's one full audio, not broken up in sections. I had to make note on the exact time I stop to find my place. The downloadable flash cards are manually gonna need to be printed and pasted front and back. The biggest tests will be if the content works and I pass the first time I take it. Will update.

Many typos
The education portion of the book is very brief but I appreciated the 6 full length exams. I was surprised by the number of discrepancies and typos. Example: regarding DIC, it states shock is NOT a risk factor but then the answer rationale does include shock as a risk factor... is it or isn't it?! There were several questions asking "which is incorrect" but the answers were the opposite of what it asked. It seems like the book wasn't reviewed for errors prior to publishing. It did give me the opportunity to do my own research to verify the answers, so I guess that's a plus?
