Soft chemical free hygiene (also adorable).
washable/re-usable toilet paper alternative is life changing! The peace of mind is awesome.I know there’s zero harmful chemicals ever!I wash mine in hot water with earth friendly soap zero scent. They are soft and fluffy after washing and have already saved me $. The fact that they are adorable doesn’t hurt. I bought a lidded kitchen compost bin that was intended to hang inside kitchen cabinet. I hung it on side of my toilet tank so my used ones having a tidy place to gather between washes. Best buying decision of 2025.

Best price for LOTS of cloths!
I love that these are cotton flannel. I bought them to use to dry off after using our new bidet. Both purchases were an effort to curb TP purchase, help the environment as much as we can, and wanting to feel cleaner (eliminate "butt crumble" or "leftovers" that TP leaves behind). All of the TP you can buy at big box stores in the US are made using virgin tree pulp, which leads to deforestation and forest degradation. Unless you're opting for recycled, bamboo, sugar cane, (all unbleached too), it's just terrible. So these wipes plus a bidet was our household's compromise. Bamboo TP is lovely (Who Gives a Crap), but is very expensive! Anyways... moving on to the wipes themselves. They are a decent size, and come on a roll you can reuse. The roll got loose and not nice looking after using just a few of the wipes. When they're brand new, fresh off the roll, they aren't very absorbent at all. We used maybe 10 wipes of the first roll, and I found myself folding it in half twice, so there was a dry area on the opposite side. Before I got used to the bidet, I was using 2 of these cloths! I washed those 10 wipes - loose in the washer, with Everspring Lavender laundry soap, cool water and an extra rinse cycle - with some hand and bath towels. They came out of the wash wrinkled, bunched up, balled up or twisted. I expected that as I have had flannel shirts, pants and sheets that do the same thing! So I flattened them out by hand (while wet and cold!) on top of the dryer, one at a time, and tossed them in the dryer. Don't use fabric softener on towels or anything you want to be absorbent, including these!!! I dried them on extra low for 90 minutes. I took them out still warm, and simply folded them in half and made a little stack of them. Let me tell you, they work MUCH better after being washed and dried! And they got softer and fluffier! So, tonight I took all of the clothes off both rolls, plus my dirty ones (that we put in a mesh delicates bag that lines a small "compost" bin that hangs on the wall by the toilet), and threw them all in the wash with, but not in, the mesh "dirty" bag. I didn't wash them IN the bag, though, as I thought the idea of them clumped together was gross. I have decided I won't put them back on the roll, at least not yet. I will fold each one in half and make little stacks for our toilet area shelves. Eventually I'd like to find a perfect size box or basket where I can put them all and it's easy to grab. I may try rolling them eventually, but right now that seems like way too much work for what ends up being a sloppy looking roll.Ideally, these would be 2 ply, double thick, to avoid potentially having to use 2. There are other brands that make these, but they're significantly more expensive. I've decided I'm going to make my own! How hard can it be? :)Definitely wash before using them for maximum absorbency! They're very simply made, and would be easy enough to make. I don't have a serger, but I can make do with what I do have. I got the colorful design ones with flowers and fruits and berries, and like how many different designs you get. For my first foray into bidets and drying clothes (washable & reusable toilet paper), I think these are a good deal for starting.Bottom line, if you want to eliminate some reliance on the most common paper product, do some good for the environment & our earth, and feel cleaner, get a bidet attachment and these flannel dry wipes. I have no regrets! And that first morning bathroom trip REALLY wakes you up with the icy blast of cold water where the sun doesn't shine!!! *You can get warm water ones too, but we don't have a warm water line anywhere near our toilet in our 75 year old home. :)

These are great!
When you get them you have to unroll them and mist them with water and lay them flat to smooth them out cuz they come in the box all wrinkly and they will not stick to each other unless they’re flat. I just roll them up like my reusable paper towels, just tuck one into the other by an inch or two and roll and they stick together as lot as they’re flat! Very absorbent, I have a bin under my bathroom sink that I chuck them in once I use one and I just wash the whole bin once a week

Feels soft, not absorbent.
As others have said - not absorbent.I tried using two together, thinking it just needed more to absorb more. But, no.I washed and dried several times, no fabric softener, etc. - this ain't my forst rodeo. Didn't help. They feel soft, but they don't do the job.

Soft but Flawed
I bought this 60-pack of reusable towels to replace my disposable makeup remover wipes. When I first opened the package, the flannel cotton material felt soft, but I noticed they weren't absorbent. After the first wash, they became more absorbent, but they also crumpled into little strips of fabric, making it a bit of a hassle to smooth them out before hanging them to dry. While they didn't dry perfectly flat, they're no longer bunched up.The quality of the edges was disappointing—the surging is inconsistent, with strings hanging off and even some spots where the stitching skips entirely. Also, while the animal prints are cute, they faded significantly after just one wash with no bleach.Since these are marketed as bidet wipes or toilet paper alternatives, they come on a sturdy cardboard roll. However, the roll only fits one of our toilet paper holders, just FYI. Overall, while these towels are soft and functional after washing, the quality and durability aren't what I had hoped for.

These cloth toilet paper are great. Just remember not to flus them. Saves on the cost of costly toilet paper.

Absorb Nothing, but cute...
I'm not new to the alternative paper situation. I've been using flannel wipes for many years now. My last set was starting to look a little tattered and I wanted something cuter and found these wonderful prints. They are in fact adorable in person, but even after approximately 9 washings including several with vinegar to make the fabric more absorbent, these literally wipe nothing off. I have resorted to leaving a towel out for my kids to use in addition to these because they are so non-absorbent. Now, I'm stuck with two sets of them and have to figure out some other way to use them. I even sacrificed one to burn it out in the yard just to verify it was cotton because it feels so much like a microfiber in the way that it doesn't soak up water at all. What a bummer and a waste of money.
