Philips Norelco Shaver 3900, S3341/92

This shaver exceeded my expectations for the price! It replaced a Braun Series 5 shaver which ground more skin off my face than my beard! And the Braun took FOREVER to get my face shaved, even after replacing the cutting head. Seriously, the Philips Norelco Shaver 3900 Series is superior in its quietness, shaving ease and quickness (even with three-day stubble). It cuts MY BEARD effortlessly and leaves my facial skin intact. I am really happy with this purchase.

Bought this to replace an older model 3000 series that would allow for plugged in and unplugged shaving. It was the best rotary shaver I could find/ afford at the time of purchase and I used it often- even with two sets of replacement blades over the years. This shaver just worked great. Recently it started to falter with rotational speed and I felt it was time for an upgrade. I was surprised to find the 3000 series still available, though double the price I originally paid many years ago. I like the charging stand and the USB charging cord on this. I also appreciate the light indicators for the battery charge indication. I can’t use this one while plugged in, so I’ll have to trust the claims of full operational use based on a full charge. After the first use, I’m pleased with the close cut. More powerful that the top speed on my original 3000 shaver after any years of use. I definitely noticed the “newness” factor. I expect this one to last as long as the other one.

For the money this is a perfectly fine electric shaver. It works well as long as your beard isn't too long. It's not perfect but is excellent if you need a little spruce up and you don't have time to whip out the shaving cream and razor. I hadn't tried an electric razor in decades and overall this impressed me. Make sure you clean it frequently. Nice carrying case, cover for blades, and a charging base. It holds a charge for a decent length of time.

Good shaver shaves good trimmer works extremely well even in the shower or any place else it’s an I’d buy this one again

Norelco makes a ton of different shavers with all kinds of extras. All of them feature the "floating head" design, which is by far the best of any razor. But this model, even though it is not the most expensive, is the best. The charging stand is critically important, of course, but the other features make this a stand out. The heft, ergonomic design, charging lights that go out when charged or after 30 minutes, flip up trimmer, easy to clean head, and definitely the style put to shame more expensive models. My last one of these lasted 25 years. That should tell you something. It's just well engineered and value priced as well! Highly recommended!

GREAT SHAVER! Gives a really smooth shave and seems to be faster than other shavers. Charging is easy and fast too.

The razor is nice and quiet. Gives a good shave. But the trimmer does not have enough power to trim my husbands mustache. Good price, but isn’t doing what we hoped it would. If you need a powerful trimmer…look at a different product.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend after a lot of researches. With around 45k reviews, mostly positive, I gave this a try. He tried it out as soon as he opened the box. First of in terms of smoothness, he said it feels comfortable on his face and it feels like massaging it. The attachment seems to be sleek, easy to clean, and it collects the hair in one place, so there is no hair flying all over the sink. When it comes to effectiveness, I think he needs to learn to angle it such that it gets the hair from everywhere. It did great on the smooth surface like chin and cheeks but it requires some more attention around the neck area. Still work great, just more attention. My main concern before the purchase was that it would gives him rashes and irritation. However, after a couple shave, none of those happened which is a great relief. I did get him the lectric pre electric shave too. So he tried with and without the pre-shave and it worked great both way, no rashes whatsoever. I did notice though that without the pre-shave, his face appears a tiny bit more dry so I'd pair it with the pre-shave. Overall, I am loving it for him because now I don't have to worry that he is going to cut himself when shaving and especially he deserve to enjoy the shaving experiences since it is the only maintenance he regularly do as a guy. As a by-product of this, I can smooch without his stubble stabbing my face. Is it with the 80 bucks? I think that is still a lot of money, but if it last for a couple years, and we only need to change the blade, I think it is a great purchase.

Muy buena rasuradora, diseño moderno.

This is my second shaver from this brand (first shaver still working, but deserved to retire after 10 yearseveryday use). From short try of some cheap stuff I have to come back to philips again, and happy about that

Muy bueno, deja muy suave la piel. Rasurado después de colocar agua en la cara o en seco. Fácil de limpiar y de secar con toalla. No he probado el de patillas. La pila dura hasta 15 días. Espero dar más comentarios a los 6 meses.

This shaver performs best with gel or cream for wet shave application. I dislike the dry shave application of this shaver because I had to make multiple passes over stubble. New Razor with New Blades should work like a snap but they have not performed well. Took many times to shave upper lip and under nose which results in slight razor burn. Cheeks and neck area were very close shaven with multiple passes over the stubble.
