with a little modification in the workshop i widened the 1.5 inch belt slot to 2 inches so it would fit on my new SCUBA backplate waist belt

I bought this little knife to use as an emergency tool while scuba diving. This will not fit the knife attachment points on the BCD. The holes for the knife sheath attachment are too narrow. Even if you could get it to attach, the accuracy screws are too short to make contact with the nut to secure the knife sheath in place. There is also a kit included to attach to LP inflator hose. I did not use this option for several reasons. I don't want anything sharp near my inflator hose while sheathing the knife. My regulator set travels on the plane with me and I cannot have this attached to my hose and carry it on a plane. You would need to carry a screwdriver and remove and replace at destination. Now the knife sets on a shelf in the closet and has not and is not being used. I recommend purchasing a line cutter or full size dive knife.

I really liked this knife, but the sheath broke on the first time out, and the knife fell out and is sitting somewhere on the bottom of Papagayo Bay in Costa Rica. I bought it to go on my Seac BCD, and I wouldn't call the attachment perfect (despite the fact that they're both from the same brand, and should pair up seamlessly), but it was fine. But literally the first time I had it in the water, the little clip on the sheath that holds the knife in place broke, and the knife came out and disappeared. To whoever finds the knife, enjoy it. It seems to be a good quality blade, and is sharp. Just don't trust the sheath. Pic attached.
