I just measured mine, and it's 3 1/8". I really like these as I have fine hair. I tease my hair a little and put in the combs and they hold in place all day!

What size are these? i need combs for doing a french bun or french twist.

They are 3 inches wide and the teeth are about 1.5 inches long. I bought them for a French twist, my favorite style, but my hair is just too straight. These didn't hold very well at all for that style. If your hair has some wave they would probably work better for you, but mine resists all bending.
