The WPL D12 is an awesome truck that can be used for many different things. They sell this truck at an amazing price at almost 30 bucks cheaper than others on Amazon. When you receive the truck it comes in original WPL packaging and comes with everything needed to use it immediately. The controller is a basic cheap controller but has a nice matte finish and has buttons to adjust the speed between slow and fast. It also has a button the adjust the steering servo so it limits the turning radius or makes it turn really sharp. It has your typical L-R steering trim adjustment on the controller. It comes with headlights but has the ability to be upgraded to add side cab markers and tail lights, the board has spots already soldered for extra accessories. The stock motor is pretty quick considering what it is and paired with the sharp steering makes it a nice drift truck. You can upgrade the gearbox to metal and add a 370 motor which makes the thing really fast. Every part is upgradable right down to the frame and if you have a 3d printer the possibilities are endless. I have 3 models 1 of which is the mini 1/16 version another is turned into a tow truck/recovery truck for my crawlers that I upgraded to 4 wheel drive and the last is a drift truck that you see in the pictures except now it is finished and those pics are from the second day I got it. If you want to drift without doing any major mods to it just put a few layers of electrical tape around the back wheels but make to wind it the right way so it does no try to unwind itself. I suggest buying 2 of them so you can race with your buddies or your kids. Have fun!!

These little 10 scale trucks at 50 bucks are well worth it Alot of fun. 2 speeds and steering and battery life are good. Comes with 2 batteries stickers mirrors and a few accessories. Quality of these little trucks is impressive for the cheese. Only gripe is window assec cage doesn't fit that well. It's made by wpl right on the box. Now just need a gi Joe with the Kung fu grip to drive. Get one. Its more fun than a chimp fight at the zoo.

My son has been interested in RC for the last several months, and we wanted to gift him with something nice this Christmas.Long story short, most of the "top end" or "hobby grade" RC cars and trucks are expensive, very expensive.Bring an engineer by discipline, I set out to find the best quality RC cars and trucks for a moderate price.The WPL brand stands out for a number of very good reasons.1.) Parts availability - yep2.) Reasonable durability - yep3.) Fully upgradeable - again, yep.I challenge anyone to buy more toy for less money, trust me - I've done weeks of research and "torture tested" one myself. This thing within reasonable limits is pretty tough. Climbed a 30 percent grade WITH a brick in the pickup box on a full charge!I'm pleasantly surprised and very pleased with how these "toy grade" WPL machines perform.Last,you can buy the RTR (ready to run) and every single metal part upgrade for less than 1/2 of the cost of a name brand RC truck. We scored an Amazon deal at $45.99 each on these a week ago and bought one for my son, my wife and myself at that price! Now we can all engage in something TOGETHER....

Ordered 2 of these since the first one came with a different pin adapter on the battery than what was in the RC van. I tried to research the maker so I could possibly get the correct replacement without having to replace my entire unit, but the website provided was unable to connect me, so I had to opt for a replacement from Amazon and hope they got it right and that this was a one off failure and the new new one will definitely be right this time.... Sadly no. The replacement is cursed with the same problem..the charger and battery have an entirely different pin configuration than the one protruding from the unit itself. Nothing fits. Wanted this to work so bad. Shame it all has to go back..

The media could not be loaded. Lots of fun and this thing hauls the mail easy to charge and people trip out on it. My daughter runs around and loves to chase it, very durable too I’ve wrecked it and it keeps on ticking.

Good quality but would invest in a gyro for stability and correction but I only got one battery with my order.

I got this truck for my grandson but he will never see it,I had so much fun playing with this truck after unpacking that I decided to get my grandson a football instead and I'll be keeping the truck it will be a great addition to my RC collection it has speed,power,and it's very sturdy it made the team.
