Received today for my hip replacement recovery. Got halfway through the assembly and then realized I received 2 of the same parts. So now it won’t work and I’m having to take apart the work I’ve done and return. I will Not order a replacement. Worst purchase ever.

I have assembled two of these. The first one was purchased by a family member. The recent one by me. I liked the first one after assembly and saw how useful it was and the safety advantages that it provided. So I got one for myself since I'm going to have orthopedic surgery and this will assist in getting up to stand. It is very sturdy and I recommend it. A small screwdriver is provided. However, I suggest using a larger grip one, and a nut driver sized to the nuts that are needed. This way you can really tighten down the connections and squeeze the provided washers to get the sturdiness that I got on my two assemblies. Doing this insures that it will not be rickety and unsafe.

My only complaint is that this frame comes in a bunch of small pieces that must be assembled. Much to my surprise, once assembled it was quite sturdy. The intended recipient relies on it daily.

Very cheap construction frame. Doesn’t feel like a solid product however it’ll work. Would have felt better about the purchase around the $30 range.

I am a critical care nurse whose husband has Parkinson’s. His movement is limited. He has trouble moving his legs. As I am only 5’2” and he is about 230 lbs, I have trouble keeping him standing while pivoting to a chair. This chair assist is very helpful. He is able to steady himself after getting up from the wheelchair so I can then move the chair and help him to sit safely. It is very sturdy and a perfect size,

Thankfully we haven't had to use it yet, but it is ready when needed. Putting it together was a little tricky, but when completed it was very sturdy and I know it will work without tipping over.

As someone now with multiple joint replacements, this is NOT what I expected. Assembly instructions are really poor. I ended up looking at photo on box to see what goes where. When fully assembled, it is clear being taller than average this is just too short. I also don't feel comfortable with using this since it is not stable for me (I actually tightened the bolts the way they should be tightened) The hardware is inadequate.. it's not going to last and some had defects in manufacture. This is just going to end up being a plant support (repurpose as tomato trellis) and that's what it can do best.
