The kids have a blast with this jump rope! We’ve had it for almost a year and it still works amazing!

Who wouldn't like jumping rope with lights?! This jump rope is thick and sturdy, which makes it easy to jump with. Sometimes fabric jump ropes don't rotate well because they are too light, so that isn't a problem with this jump rope. The handles are easy to grip and I love the adjustable feature since I have many kids of varying ages who can all use it. It does take batteries for the lights, and there were no installation instructions for the batteries, but they go in one of the handles, and it isn't hard to figure out. I was also able to go back to Amazon to troubleshoot. For this reason, it got 4 stars instead of five. The lights are obviously pleasing for the kids and add an element of fun, but I also like that the jump rope is functional whether it has the lights or not. This would be great for camping, Fourth of July, or really any time you are spending time outdoors with your kids.

The granddaughters have had so much fun with this. It is really fun to use at night and lights up really bright. Great price and a great gift for kids.

The media could not be loaded. This was a Xmas present for my almost 6 y.o. niece. It doesn't come with instructions so it took me taking out the screws in the handles (needlessly) and giving it a good look over to realize that the bottom of the handle with the white plastic thingy is like a "cap" and just screws off. Once you pull it out, there is a long tube that has a single screw at the bottom... unscrew that and it opens (takes 2 or3 AAA batteries). It's easier enough to do that my niece opened it to use the batteries for another toy... hardest part is figuring out what to do lol. The lights are not super bright with the light on and we didn't test in the dark but she was delighted by them nonetheless. She has never jumped rope so I started her off by jumping with me as I turned the rope. Her mom says she has continued to practice on it whenever she can. GREAT GIFT... gets kiddo active and not in front of a screen!!!

It came with no instructions. A tiny screwdriver came with it but I don’t know how to get the lights working.

A stocking stuffer gift for our little gal. Unfortunately, there was no instruction sheet in the box for how to find the place to add the batteries - but thankfully it was on amazon product info so I was able to add the 2 AAA batteries, as one of the handles screwed off. Our little 5 year old doesn't have a jump rope yet, so this will make a perfect stocking stuffer. I always loved jumping rope when I was a little girl, well, actually even as I got bigger, okay... I still love a jump rope! What I like about this jump rope is that it is adjustable so, it can grow with her. And of course the lights make a great fun feature!

This was the perfect gift for my 5 year old niece who has everything. Lol!Takes batteries and works as it should.

Came with screwdriver needed to put batteries in which is nice. Jump rope is a little awkward feeling at first because of thickness. But it’s so cool with the LED lights. 6 year old is having the time of her life with this.
