The best thing about viewsonic projectors is the ease of replacing the bulb when it eventually wears out and pops. Replacement bulbs from 3rd-party vendors can be had for around $80usd and drop in easily. This unit does get warm and the fan gets noisy over time, but it has great image quality, brightness, and can be repaired with off the shelf parts.

Brightness is great. Easy set up. Image is nice and clear. I had to do some Jerry rigging to get my old ceiling bracket to fit. Configuration on newer projectors is different than on older projectors. Be careful when ordering brackets. Get your dimensions first. It’s well worth the price.

Bought this for showing outdoor movies. For the price, it’s not bad, but I do wish we didn’t have to wait for it to get nearly dark to use it. Focus is great, even with a big screen.

I will be projecting in a couple of weeks in a dining hall where the entire west end is a glass wall (with no shades or curtains), so there is a lot of ambient light - especially after our noon lunch! I received the projector, unboxed it (it was well packed, including two batteries for the remote), powered it up and was rewarded with a nice bright display. (After powering up, wait about 20 seconds for the full brightness. Also - you can make it even more bright and increase contrast and sharpness through the on-screen menus.) Very basic adjustable feet allow fairly limited vertical/tilt movement of the projector. You may need to use books or other objects if you need it aimed more upwards or downwards. Keystone corrections worked well. At different vertical angles of the projector, I was able to use the digital keystoning to get the image squared up with no problems. (I use a portable projector stand which allows me to pan and tilt the stand and projector easily.) Optical zoom and focus worked well - I tested and got about a nice 9-foot-wide display on a screen with the projector located about 15 feet back from the screen. Based on my very quick and rough testing, for about every 3 feet of horizontal displayed data on the screen, you need the projector to be about 5 feet from the screen. I used an HDMI connection to my laptop as the source, and got very good, clean and sharp displays. Back to the brightness - I tested this in our dining room at 1 PM where the entire wall behind the projector was glass with no drapes or other shading, and the weather was clear and very sunny. The picture was quite clear and definitely bright enough for my audience in a couple of weeks. I am keeping the box, as it is a good size for carrying the projector - otherwise I would need to get a padded bag to carry it. The projector itself is quite light and easy to pull out of the box one-handed and set on the projector stand or table.

It’s been good but it randomly messes up and the buttons go to other setting when no one is touching them. It goes to -40 keystone, 0 volume, bounces between settings. It is so annoying to deal with. For $650!! Disappointing

Wanted a projector bright enough to be visible in a south facing room with lots of windows before sunset. We had an older projector that wasn't usable until it was dark out and the lights were off. This one is so much brighter - visible even in late afternoon with the sun blazing into the giant wall of windows. Setup was easy, and the dial for sizing and the focus ring are super easy to use. Picture is sharp and clear. Unit is silent. Recommended for a reasonably priced projector.

If you’ve ever bought one of those cheap temp-brand projectors here, you’ll know that they do not last and they’re not very bright. This projector, on the other hand, is high quality. It’s a known brand, and it shows with this projector. The brightness is top-tier. The image quality is great. I spent too much time researching, and if you’re reading this and wondering why you might spend more money, it’s for the quality, quiet fan (especially on Eco mode), and a nice remote that works well. Get this one if you want a projector that is bright and will last.

Sehr zufrieden, hell und scharf! Wollte kürzlich auf einen teuren 4k Beamer upgraden, habe dann aber bemerkt, dass der viewsonic viel schärfer ist als der 4K Beamer. Bin dann beim View Sonic geblieben. Er ist auch leise.

I purchased this projector with the expectation that it would provide sufficient brightness for use in our local care home during daylight hours, given its advertised 4000 ANSI lumens. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver even half of that brightness. Upon returning the product, the company declined to refund more than half of the purchase price, citing the fact that the box had been opened. Had I been able to evaluate the projector without unboxing it, I would have done so. Regrettably, this experience resulted in a financial loss of £325. I would advise caution to anyone considering making a purchase from this company in the future.

Très bon vidéoprojecteur pour mon utilisation en multimédia. Réglages simples et le mode éco est vraiment bien pour ne pas être dérangé par le bruit du refroidissement de la lampe. Le mode tableau noir est celui que j'utilise le plus et donne un bon rendu. Par contre, si la pièce est beaucoup trop ensoleillée, l'image n'est pas assez visible pour ma configuration et utilisation. Déjà 300 heures d'utilisation et rien à signaler. 👍

This was recommended to me for my use as a teacher who teaches in a lit classroom. It has proved to be exactly what I needed--enough lumens for daytime use, easily usable for movies, etc. in darker settings. Great resolution. Easy to install to my Apple computer. What I needed. I trust that it will also last--including the lamp hours. Satisfied and within my budget. I do travel a bit with this and bought a stand that I can use in settings where I need to elevate it.

Avevo già avuto esperienza negativa con un’altra marca (subito restituita). In particolare ci tenevo alla nitidezza dell’immagine su schermo di stoffa. Molto soddisfatta anche x la semplicità di fruizione, visto che non sono una tecnologica.
