Top light for the $$
I am a flashlight snob. I work with them every night. It’s VERY DIFFICULT to find flashlights with diffusers. Sometimes they don’t exist on Amazon. My go to is Olight but they stopped selling them with diffusers years ago which is key for my business. This light is just as bright as the $120 lights just as durable. Doesn’t have the zoom but not needed if you are only using the diffuser. For $12 I’m buying a few since they are NOT readily available with a consistent supplier on Amazon. Thanks for this great light at an unbeatable price.

Great gadgets and affordable
Loved them! Brightness is great. It has different settings for signaling. I love the caps that spread the light in a small room. I love the fact that they are rechargeable

Great little light
This is a really great light for the current price of 15.99. It's compact, but not so small that it doesn't have the power to cast a bright light. It has several light levels you can cycle through by continuously clicking the power button, with the included diffuser as another great option. Double-clicking the power button switches the light to 2 strobe speeds and SOS. But even without double-clicking you have to cycle through all light levels in order to power off (the only con I have to offer).Differentiating the power button from the rubber covering of the charging port without looking at it seems impossible at first, as they are of identical size and shape, and right next to each other, until you realize the power button is raised slightly higher. After a little bit of practice you'll know which to feel for and can tell them apart fairly easily. (Though I could see this being a bit of a chore for folks with larger fingers.)All in all it's a simple light that feels durable and comes with more features than you'd expect at this price. Definitely recommend.

Excellent utility flashlights
This review is for 'AUCLAYTEC 500 Lumens Tactical Flashlight', sold as a 2 pack. (Model: L4020R*2, ASIN: B0CKRDHX87) From what I've seen, so far, they are solid, reliable flashlights. So, nothing is going to be as insanely bright as some of the advertising pictures you see, but these come reasonably close -- turning one on in a dark room had my light-adverse partner covering her eyes and complaining that it (in this case, just pointing one of the (on full) up at the ceiling) was considerably harder on her eyes than my Cellphone light pointed straight in her face.) It's not going to be like one of the million candlepower spot lights that I think they use for some of the promo pics... but it's really, really, bright. They appear to be made of some fairly high-grade aluminum, and haven't taken any damage from me dropping them onto concrete, several times. The most vulnerable part is probably the diffusing shade that fits on the end (it doesn't snap or screw or anything, but it's a pretty snug fit, and I haven't had it fall off, yet), and the weighting has it unlikely that the shade will hit first, when dropped. As to the shade -- it does what it's supposed to; it diffuses the light out in most directions, so you have a lamp effect, instead of a directional light. Works well as a lantern inside of a tent, hanging it from one of the strands on the top (via the pocket clip.)As to controlling it, it's fairly straight forward. Push the power button once, and it's on VERY bright. Push it again, and it's at it's medium intensity, and one more push takes it to low. Push it again, and it turns off. That said, if, at any point, you instead 'double-click' it, you switch over to flashing mode. At first, it will just be quick flashing. Push it again, and it will be a slower, steady blink. Once more, and it hits a SOS pattern (3 short, 3 long, repeated forever.) One more click and it turns off. Note: double clicking it, at any point, takes you back to the fast-blinking; you just click it regularly to cycle between the strobing patterns.I haven't stress-tested the batteries, yet, but I've been playing with them (and yes, I admit -- I was PLAYING with them) for several days, for probably an hour, in total, and I haven't seen them dim, at all, yet. They arrived mostly fully charged. (And they use USB-C cables (included) which is nice, since they are non-directional (i.e. you don't have to orient them top/bottom), and very common.)So, why a 4 star, and not 5? Well, there are a few things that could significantly improve these lights:The first, and to my mind, most significant one, is tactile information -- the power button AND the charge port/cover are both at the bottom, and both the same hemisphere shape. There are markings on them, to tell you which is which, but you can't readily tell (at least I can't) which is which by feel -- which, for a flashlight, would be very helpful. Even just a sharp little bump or something on one side would significantly improve the ease-of-use.The second would be some degree of Focus for the lens. I'm spoiled by being used to having it on small flashlights, and it significantly expands their usefulness when you are able to adjust them as needed. The focus, however, is just a small issue; with some easy way to identify the power button vs the cover of the charging port, in the dark, I'd give these a 5, but, even without it, they manage a very solid 4.

Difficult to Operate
This is a review of the AUCLAYTEC Mini Tactical Flashlight. The item model number is L4020R. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0CKSLBD2P.Charging is done using the USB-C port. The port color will be red while charging and switch to green when fully charged. The lampshade does a nice job of spreading the light. When placed properly, I can see where the diffused light could be used as a reading light at night.I could only get the flashlight to cycle through 3 settings: 500, 300, and 100 lumens.PROSFlashlight is compact and fits easily into a pocket or purse.Belt clip is provided. The light is bright at the highest setting.Diffusion cone makes the light easy on the eyes.CONSBeam is not adjustable to zoom or wide angle.Power switch and charging port are close together, causing confusion when turning on the light.Power switch is small and difficult to turn on.Because of the difficulty in operating the flashlight, I have deducted 2 stars.
