From the Manufacturer The Post-it Note was invented as a solution without a problem. In 1968 Dr. Spencer Silver, a 3M scientist, developed a unique, repositionable adhesive. Every time I buy a different brand I regret it. Post-it products always have the best sticking power, size options, colors and don't bleed through even when using sharpies. And the "super-sticky" notes have even more staying power than the regular ones.

Adhesive works very well. Avoid the imitation brands that are cheaper but have inferior adhesive that does not hold.....it curls the paper when you try to use it and doesn't stick. Always buy post it brand even though it is more expensive.
