It's a great chew toy for strong dogs my dog will pop a ball in seconds But this toy has lasted well

I bought this to help with training my GSD.He loves it too much tbh & is reluctant to give it back lolIt bounces pretty good too.Just one of his many birthday presents he was spoilt with this year!It has that authentic rubbery smell, he won't chew through it for a long time & it's affordable.You could put treats in it as the ends are hollow but my dog isn't food motivated.

These seem excellently made, but I couldn't see anywhere on Rosewood site whether they had been tested for contaminants etc. An email back from them reassured me 100% that they are safe. Sadly though are two fussy cockapoos aren't interested in them. It's perhaps the smell of vanilla that turns them off. A pity because the dumbells are a great idea. Will maybe try the bone shaped ones next time :)

Nice product. My dog (spaniel) who loves to chew loved it and carried it everywhere for the first couple of days. He then proceeded to chew the end off it in about 15 minutes and we had to bin it. So, great toy but not as tough as some chewy dog toys.

I hesitated to buy this as it was obviously not completely solid. That's normally a prerequisite for any toy I give to my powerful labrador. However so far so good. It's stronger than it looks and is flexible. Seems to stand up to pretty harsh tugs of war between him and me! The spikes allow him to get a good grip. That's my excuse for any defeats!

The listing is incorrect - you will only receive ONE dumbbell despite the listing currently stating it is for 3.So for the price, you would except the one dumbbell to be of good quality...right?Wrong. It literally snapped apart as I was opening the envelope it came in. I'm so glad my dogs didn't get near it because they could have choked on the tiny bits that shattered off.This is falsely advertised, poor quality and bordering on unsafe. Don't buy.

I looked at the reviews and thought it would last longer than it did. My dog loved it! He is a chewer and trotted off with it as soon as I gave it to him. He started gently, tossing it around in his excitement. I thought we'd cracked it. A toy that we could use and play with regularly. 20 minutes and he had destroyed one end. I'm lucky, he spits out the rubber bits, but any one buying this MUST supervise their dog and no, unless this was a defective batch, this is NOT robust enough to call a chew toy. Though I imagine it would be good for a dog that mouths, rather than chews.
