D-Mannose 500mg Supports Urinary Tract Health - 30 Capsules

Great product!

This is affordable and it is the same ingredient that is put into cat food to help prevent male cats from urinary blockages. It is a sugar and can be easily mixed into wet food - my cat liked the taste, which is a little sweet. It keeps bacteria from adhering to bladder walls and it really helped my beloved cat who had kidney disease. Once I started using this, he never blocked again. I used it sparingly since this is human grade - and not every day. Only used if I saw him strain or be in the box too long, then used for several days til he felt better. One could probably use it more frequently. check with your veterinarian and if your vet doesn't know about the wonders of D-mannose, shame on them! They should read Tanya's CKD site. That's not where I found out about D-mannose; it was on a vet site, but this is great stuff and you don't need to buy the prescription food if your cat won't eat it. It is beneficial for humans too.

Great price on these! Love that I can get them on Subscribe and Save so I don't have to worry about reordering. Since I found these for UTI, I simply won't be without them. So much better than antibiotics! Also, I have found that these capsules are easier to swallow than the Now brand (which I also like). And in the end, I like the powder better overall, but it's nice to have the capsules for convenience sake at night or when I am away from home. And these are nice capsules at a good price. One thing to note is that, if you are taking them for an active UTI and trying to follow the dosage instructions on various websites, they all seem to get the capsule dosage wrong. Two 500 mg capsules equals 1 gram. Most websites recommend 2 grams every 2-3 hours for active UTI, which they say is one teaspoon of powder or one capsule. Well, they are right about the teaspoon - it's 2 grams. But it takes FOUR 500 mg capsules to equal 2 grams (most websites say one capsule). Just some simple math there, but... If you're just doing maintenance and don't have an active UTI, just follow the instructions on the bottle. But if you have an active UTI and are trying to follow dosages for that, just remember, FOUR capsules is equal to ONE teaspoon of powder (or two grams). Lastly, this stuff really works! I don't ever want to be without it, and it's even easier with Subscribe and Save.

I suffer from frequent UTI's. I've been in the hospital due to UTI's travelling to my kidneys. I recently had one that went all the way to my gallbladder resulting in it having to be removed. All of this despite taking every precaution known to man and always promptly seeking care at the first sign of an infection. I was on so many antibiotics because of UTI's that I got a c. diff infection and almost died as well as almost losing my colon. Needless to say...the cranberry extract pills weren't doing their job. A friend from a c.diff survivor support group recommended d mannose to me for frequent UTI's. I've been taking it for a week now, twice a day, and my urine is crystal clear with no odor. I also am feeling more energy. I would highly recommend this to any one with UTI issues. It is a good, cheap, all natural preventative. I have always had high hopes for all natural treatments and cures for sickness. After all you don't get a headache from the lack of aspirin the headache is simply a sign that something is wrong. (perhaps you need rest, or something to eat or a hot bath) While drugs do often help many of them just turn the sign off for awhile so you don't feel like there is a problem but as the bible says those who trust in there feelings are a fool. I was dealing with a UTI for weeks and finally one day I woke up and weather I went to the bathroom or not I was feeling a discomfort in a personal area. I had to go every few minutes but when I tried almost nothing came out, and at the end of urinating it was painful. I also had the lower back pain and was woozy. I was sent home from work to lay down and rested till the the mail got to me. I finally got the D-MANNOSE I ordered. I read many testimonies and wasn't sure it could help but figured I have a doc appointment in a couple weeks so I have nothing to lose. Right away I took double the recommended dose and layed down. about an hour later I started feeling better and able to do stuff and hungry instead of woozy! I also went a LOT easier and more normally. I took 2 more (2 all day is recommended but I took 4 the first 2 days)the second day on the stuff I had only 2 times when I felt burning when I went but was far more normal. the third day NO SIGN OF UTI!!!! I haven't taking any pills for over a week and cancelled my doc appointment and haven't had any signs come back!!!

Es gab im Sommer diesen Jahres einen Beitrag im Schweizer Fernsehen SRF zu Blasenentzündungen und 2 Ärztinnen aus dem Spezialbereich Gyn empfahlen darin die D-Mannose als Vorbeuge Maßnahme gg BEs. Sogar seit 20 (!) Jahren empfehle sie dieses Mittel, erklärte eine. D-mannose ist ein Einfachzucker der nicht verstoffwechselt wird, dh auch nicht dick macht. Er ummantelt E. Coli Balterien die BEs verursachen können, so dass deren Fangarme sich nicht in die Blasenwand nisten und eine Infektion hervorrufen kann. Die Kapseln sind natürlich einfach zu dosieren, dass leichte Brennen dass ich immer ein wenig hatte ist damit völlig verschwunden. Es ist kein Wundermittel, es muss sorgfältig eingenommen werden und alle gängigen Maßnahmen (warm halten, nach dem gv aufs wc, viel trinken, .....) müssen weiterhin eingehalten werden, aber immerhin gibt es die Möglichkeit sich richtig damit ein zu stellen und damit endlich etwas in der Hand zu haben. Das ist die 2. Bestellung und ich bin sehr zufrieden.

ich leide wie sehr viele frauen oft an einer blasenentzündung die dann zum harnwegsinfekt wird.... dieses produkt hilft extrem gut beim ausspülen der bakterien und stärkt den harntrakt...es ist auch etwas günstiger als das pulver von d mannos das ich davor hatte das hat glaube ich um die 40 (!!!) euro gekostet...aber die kapseln halten recht lang und das geld ist es mir hierfür alle male wert :)

Mir haben diese Kapseln wirklich viel gebracht, ich habe sehr oft, das heißt regelmäßig alle 1-2 Monate unter wirklich sehr unangenehmen Harnwegsinfekten gelitten. Seitdem ich dieses Produkt regelmäßig verwende, 1-2 Kapseln pro Woche, habe ich deutlich weniger Infekte! Bislang hat nichts anderes bei mir etwas gebracht und Antibiotika auf Dauer sind leider auch nicht das Wahre.
