Fast, reliable, and a noticeable upgrade
The Crucial T500 1TB NVMe SSD delivers excellent performance and is a noticeable upgrade over older drives. Read and write speeds are extremely fast, resulting in quicker boot times, faster file transfers, and noticeably improved application and game loading. Installation was straightforward in an M.2 slot, and the drive was recognised immediately. It runs reliably during everyday use as well as heavier workloads, making it a great choice for gaming, productivity, or upgrading a laptop or desktop system. Overall, it offers excellent performance for its size and capacity. Pros: • Very fast PCIe Gen4 performance • Quick boot and load times • Reliable and stable operation • Easy to install • Great upgrade for laptops and desktops Cons: • None so far

Performs Well & Will Last Awhile
The T500 is a pretty mid-ranged Gen4 NVMe Drive. Thankfully with it being TLC NAND, it's pretty appropriate to shove this into a laptop and get both pretty good performance and reasonable expectations of endurance with Write Cycles. Pricing was also ok at time-of-purchase.

Fast, durable and good
I installed this drive to replace my failing crucial p2 drive. This acts as my boot device for windows and wow is it quick, boot times have been literally slashed in half, apps open quicker and the OS feels much smoother and responsive. This is definitely overkill for a boot drive but I needed it for specific work cases where some apps run off the boot drive and I couldn't ask for more, I haven't even lost any health yet and I'v been hammering it for about a month now, it's held up much better than my other drives. I have to say crucial t500 is a huge step up over the p2, p3 and p5 line and I can't recommend anything else really.

Nice and quick.
Nice and quick. A word of warning though. Make sure your PC BIOS is set to AHCI mode and not RAID as with the latter you will not be able to update Firmware or use any other useful features of the software for it. Knocked a star off because of that. If you are cloning then this can still be done but involves a few steps. Go into msconfig, set minimal boot, boot up to BIOS, change BIOS to AHCI, Boot to Windows (now in safe mode), Back into MSCONFIG and set back to "Normal Startup" and deselect Minimal Boot, Reboot and all is good and you can now use storage executive.

Very fast at a good price
This is my fourth Crucial SSD. I bought it to swap out my older smaller Samsung boot SSD. Its a very fast drive and well worth the cost. I managed to get it for £60. Crucial has always been a quality brand and I expect o get to get a lot of reliable use from this drive. It really is a great upgrade for my aging AM4 backup PC.

A Satisfactory SSD Storage upgrade
Although easy to fit I had a slight issue with the cloneing and partitioning process's. However, once overcome my i5 laptop is lightening fast. I'll be adding an additional external SSD enclosure which will house a Crucial T500 2TB heat-sinc SSD for my sound library and projects.

Great SSD
I have always bought crucial SSDs, they may not be the fastest but they provide 98% of the speed at a far lower price and they are extremely reliable been using them for years and I have never had one fail on me
