A functional equipment
The idea of such a compact grinder polisher is awesome, sadly that grinder will not start turning without pushing the belt by hand to give it like a jump start. It's like it would need a capacitor or something to start with the switch on.

Unfortunately disappointed. !!!!
I guess you get what you pay for:1) the right side is fully exposed. Be careful not to be holding on to the unit when you turn it on otherwise you can lose a finger or two2) when I attached the stone and buffer the motor did not spin3) once I attached the buffing wheel I couldn’t get it off. Tried everything. Won’t come off4) the belt sander was working ok but as you are using the unit is turns on the table. You need to screw it down to a heavy block of wood or something to prevent it from turning5) The unit is tiny. I had no idea it was that smallWhat did I expect for $50. Very disappointed!!!!I should have spent some extra bucks and got something shop worthy.

Works well for light work. Compact and portable.
Very basic and simplistic design, but built of stainless, and does what it's intended to do. Motor is not exceptionally powerful, so you can't put much pressure on grinding or buffing wheels, however, it sharpens knives to shaving in minutes (just what I intended it to do).

Great item. Just recovered a friends antique pocket knife. I've been keeping our houses kitchen knifes razor sharp ever since. This is a nice item.
