Can this small electric kettle also be used without cord?

No. It ONLY works when plugged up!

Can I use the kettle at 220-240V?

NOTE: This is wired for 120V voltage ONLY in North America. If you want to use it in other regions with different voltages, you will need voltage converter. Tip: using a voltage converter will make the boiling process slower

The kettle is said to be stainless steel, but why are there black spots after use?

Sekaer that all portable kettle are made of food-grade stainless steel. It's normal if your kettle exposes spots or rust on the stainless steel bottom after the first use if the water quality in your area is so hard.

How to Descale / Clean the Kettle?

Filling the kettle with 1 cup of vinegar or lemon juice and 1 cups of water. Boiling the liquid and leave it for 2 hours, then use a cloth to clean and wipe. Rinse the kettle with clean water, repeat as needed.

Once the water has been boiled, can I open it right away?

Please wait 2 minutes after the water boils then turn off the power switch before opening the lid.(Be careful not to shake.)
