How to Replacing the Roomba 800 and 900 series extractors or cleaning the cleaning head? 1 Extractors Replacement - Pinch the yellow extractor frame release tabs, lift up the extractor frame, and remove any obstructions. - When reinstalling the debris extractors, match the color and shape of the extractor pegs with the color and shape of the extractor icons on the cleaning head module. - Ensure the extractor frame is properly aligned. 2 Cleaning Head Module Care - For optimal performance, the cleaning head module should be regularly cleaned. - Pinch the yellow extractor frame release tabs, lift up the extractor frame, and remove any obstructions. - Ensure hair and debris is removed from the square and hex pegs of the extractors. - Remove the extractor caps. Ensure any hair or debris that has collected on, or underneath the caps, and around the metal axles have been removed. - Ensure the vacuum path is clear. - When reinstalling the debris extractors, match the color and shape of the extractor pegs with the color and shape of the extractor icons on the cleaning head module. - Ensure the extractor frame is properly aligned. - Spin the extractors to ensure they rotate freely. If the extractors do not rotate, you may need to replace them.
