YoloLiv YoloBox Ultra, The Ultimate Horizontal/Vertical NDI Live Streaming Equipment, Switcher Monitor Encoder Recorder, for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, RTMPS

I have been through 5 different, disappointing streaming hubs in the last 3 years, and I have to say, this is the best I've found, with all the bells and whistles, right at your fingertips in a beautifully laid out touchscreen GUI! You can stream to 5 different platforms. Like YouTube, Twitch and Facebook in horizontal mode, or 2 different destinations, like Instagram and TikTok in vertical! Or, you can just turn on USB-C out and stream to any streaming platform, like Streamyard for example, emulating a webcam! Plus, you can add a USB-C webcam as an output and have 5 cameras running, which I sometimes need. It can also work in tandem with other switchers. For presentations in Zoom, there is nothing better to make you look like a pro. There is 4K live broadcasting, and everything is packaged nicely on a 8" display that puts out 650 nits, so no squinting to see it in direct sunlight. With the 865 Snapdragon CPU, the touchscreen menus and performance is instantaneous. They claim 6 hours of battery run time, but I have streamed for 4 hours with this and then forgotten to turn it off. It still had battery life after 9 hours. For sporting events (which I don't personally do), there is a scoreboard overlay feature as well as instant replay! You can really do professional looking live broadcasts at sporting events. For the live streamers, it has built in ISO recording. You can record the program out, or the program and all or some cameras individually with an SD card or external hard drive. If you're on the go, it also has cellular bonding. You can bond 2 USB modems, 1 4G LTE and even 1 Wi-Fi source! You can even add the Ethernet bonding for an incredible uninterrupted stream. If you're in a low signal area, you can opt-in to the NDI HX3 & SRT! The graphics overlays and lower thirds are a necessary feature to any live streamer, and so is the ability to invite guests! This switcher has it all. The last device I had (and still have) is the ATEM ISO Extreme, and it was good, and in fact, I still use it in tandem with the YoloLiv when I need more cameras. But nothing even comes close to the YoloLiv Ultra! If you're like me, and you want all the features for a pro livestream at your fingertips, this is the encoder/recorder to get. And if you need help? It's at your fingertips! The support staff is always there to answer my (user error) problems lickity split! And I do have a lot of user error issues :-) This is not a paid or free product review! I paid full price for it and I'm extremely happy with the purchase as a real user!

I’ve been looking for a truly portable multi-camera video switcher and streamer to build a video production flypack to broadcast youth basketball events. Before I met Yolobox Ultra, a stationary setup in the venue requires a fair amount of time on the site and also requires a sizable space for all the equipment. In a lot of non-pro level tournaments, these are a luxury to ask for. Now, Yolobox Ultra does a quite good job for me to provide such an on-the-go solution without sacrificing the functionalities I wanted to achieve. It serves as a “swiss-knife” and center piece of my mobile video production flypack. The Yolobox Ultra is versatile, powerful and portable enough to allow me to do the following: * 3 camera angles - wide, tight, courtside * Customizable scoreboard operated directly on the device * Instant replay from multiple camera angle with transition effect in/out * Shotgun microphone input * Live stream to Youtube via WiFi/Ethernet/built-in Cellular * Sufficient battery life to film multiple games in a row It’s pretty impressive the device manages to pack tons of functionality in such a small form factor, with all types of physical connectivity ports, such as HDMI, USB Type A, USB Type C, and also supports NDI and SRT video in and out. And, last but not least, the customer support and engineering team of Yololive is doing a phenomenal job to iterate the software very quickly, new releases with new features and improvements are released almost every two to three weeks. Definitely excited about its potential.

I finally upgraded from the Yolobox pro to the ultra and so happy I did. The pro was an amazing tool in itself and upgrading to the ultra was such a welcomed choice. Definitely noticeably faster than the pro and the extra HDMI input simply expanded my production capabilities. I love the new UI when it comes to setting up my various sources. One big upgrade that I really appreciate is if you unplug one of your HDMI sources it immediately detect the input and you are ready to go versus the pro where the preview thumbnails under the source would show a black box, even though selecting the source would work. some of the things that they don't advertise for Yolobox that are very useful features are the Yolocast platform which allows you to pull in all your Yolocast and third-party overlays into one place and be able to use them simultaneously on your Yolobox! With this system, I've been able to create a simple solution for live streaming that I can set up and breakdown within an hour and literally not have to plug anything in (everything battery powered). My clients really appreciate the small footprint of our set up and the very low maintenance approach just need wifi and we are off to the races.

Great product. My only issue is the audio in is not as good as I would like but it’s okay for normal use.

Where do I start? I own the mini and was so impressed by it that when the Ultra came up with its insane 4 hdmi inputs plus USB and NDI, I knew I had to get it. This box is extremely powerful. It does it all! Dual encoder, network bonding, replays, web control, built in scoreboard, URL overlays, guest features, comments, audio mixer. In addition to all that does vertical streaming too. The support has been great from the Facebook Community and Yololiv listen to their users, and their requests are considered when developing new firmware versions, fixing bugs and adding features. I use my Ultra mainly for live sports(soccer and baseball) and honestly I was able to completely ditch my laptop as part of my setup. I would like to mention that it has some bugs like any other new device but the development is nonstop and the fix is usually only a couple weeks out. Overall super pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a live-streaming solution.

Why I bought the device: I do sports streaming and taking a powerful laptop, power station, docking station and a bunch of capture cards felt super uncomfortable transporting the items and setting up the whole framework felt like a nightmare and was time-consuming. It also requires a power supply to be provided wherever the stream is set up. YoloBox Ultra is a lightweight tablet that eliminates the need for a capture card and power supply by making it super-easy to set up a multi-camera live streaming wherever you want, very quickly. It offers 95% of the features that software like OBS provides. I carry a 40000 mAh power bank that can power the YoloBox Ultra beyond the 6-hour battery life that the device itself provides, with which, I have streamed games for up to 14 hours continuously without the need of a power supply. Stability of the stream: The stream feels super-smooth and the interface is very user-friendly. We have the option to choose the encoding settings, bit rate and fps of the stream output along with the recording output. I have heard very positive feedback about our stream's viewing experience from multiple clients of ours till now. Stand-out features: Network bonding, multi-camera replays, ISO recording, and so on are some of the standout features I have felt. Drawbacks: I have felt some minor drawbacks like the lack of stinger transitions between video sources, lack of macro automation capabilities, limiting the number of local videos to only 5, lack of folder structure and so on. But these are minor drawbacks for such a portable device. Also, the YoloLiv team is super responsive towards their customers and when we report any problem or possible enhancement, they take our feedback seriously and deliver on it! One major issue is the pricing. I live in India and the YoloLiv team isn't working on regional-specific pricing. I feel that the Ultra being sold for $1500 may feel affordable for someone from the USA. But here in India, it is hyper-expensive. Overall verdict: Extremely satisfied. 10 out of 10!

Switching to Blackmagic ATM Pro ISO. Do not believe all the paid reviews and advertisements on YouTube. The software needs major work. Every time the item reboots, you have to set it up again. in terms of the layout, video output, and all the other settings; need to allocate 5 to 10 minutes before every live stream to just go over the settings Meanwhile, nothing about the set has changed, it is just a major inconvenience. I have been using Blackmagic ATM Pro for the past 2 years with no issues and thought this would be a nice upgrade, but after trying it out for two weeks, i am going to upgrade to Blackmagic ATM Pro ISO. The item overheats and shuts down 20 to 30 minutes into the stream. In theory, it is a good item, however, it needs more development, both in the software and the hardware. For this much money, I expected reliability and time savings; Non is not here currently.

Très content de ce produit, très facile d’utilisation (plug & play) tout en un. Cette tablette est autonome et permet de faire des miracles très facilement ! Le tactile est très fluide, permet de réaliser des plans live en multi cam très facilement et d’insérer des images, textes etc… à l’écran pendant un live ! J’hésitai avec un ordinateur portable vu le prix, mais cela n’a rien à voir ! Beaucoup plus pratique, efficace ! Bref je recommande +++

Die Yolobox Ultra ist eine hervorragende Streaming Plattform. ich benutze sie zusammen mit dem Obsbot Tail Air PTZ Kamera 3er- Set, und Dem Atem Mini Pro Iso von Black Magix Design und dem Elgata Streamdeck XL. Das klappt alles wunderbar.

I had the original Yolobox which was unreliable and pretty useless so was never used for any professional work. Then I bought the Ultra which I’ve now been using for many months with no major issues. Firmware is regularly updated and improved and it’s really handy for livestreaming sports matches which I do most weekends. I’ve also done many funerals using this. As long as you have strong internet this works a treat. It can be set to give you a backup recording so if your livestream does fail you can upload it later. I’ve only used it for streaming to YouTube but it can also stream to Facebook and other platforms simultaneously.

Ma con questo YoloBox ULTRA si hanno più connessioni, più batteria, ma sopratutto molte, ma molte più funzioni rispetto al PRO, grazie alla potenza del nuovo processore (registrazione separata delle fonti, multi connessione per uno streaming in 4k di qualità e sempre super stabile, in formato orizzontale ma anche verticale). Poi YoloLiv ascolta le necessità dei suoi clienti e aggiorna molto spesso i suoi dispositivi con nuove funzionalità che lo rendono sempre al passo con i tempi e le necessità di chi lo usa. Anche l'assistenza è super rapida nel risolvere ogni necessità o problema... In conclusione, un azienda molto seria e dinamica che fornisce servizi e costruisce dispositivi che valgono ogni singolo euro di quello che costano... e il mio nuovo ULTRA l'ho pagato anche 200€ in meno rispetto al suo prezzo standard durante questo Black Friday.
