Carbon Treadmills: Treadmills for Walking and Running with Built-in Fan and SpaceSaver Design

I am totally happy with this purchase. 100%. Arrival: Single, large box that has a lot of guards and padding for secure delivery condition. BUT this is extremely heavy; 300+ pounds in a single box. We had to use a hand truck and 2 dolly's to move it around into our first floor. Unpacking in advance does not help all that much! Assembly: Take your time unpacking. There are 4 main items - the base, the side rails, the cross bar and the console. The hardware provided is packaged in blister packs and they provide all the tools needed to assemble. And as a side note... these are nice tools! I own a ton of tools and I never even thought about breaking anything out to put this together. Nice touch! The trickiest part is snaking the wires, but they make it very easy to do correctly; just take your time. Build quality: Impressive! This is sturdy and extremely well made. Built in Vietnam and they did a great job. Beautiful design is practically perfect in every way and there is no skimping on the assembly. Functionality: Works smoothly and is extremely quiet. I am 6' tall and 210 pounds and the tread is wide enough and long enough for an effective workout. Speed and incline are super easy to use and operates perfectly. Bottom line: Supe happy with this purchase. I am impressed with the design, build and functionality at this price point. I can't think of anything that they could have done better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I was pleased to say that my treadmill arrived a week early. It was packaged very well. UPS did some damage to the outside of the box but it had no impact on the product inside due to its packaging. My one complaint was in regards to two metal pieces that were tie wrapped to the legs. They looked like they were a part of the treadmill however there was no mention of the pieces in the owners manual. An hour long phone call with customer service advised me that they were packing material and could be discarded. Overall the product went together relatively easy. The owners manual was easy to follow. Putting the treadmill through its paces showed to have a great incline ability (very smooth). The treadmill is well built and rather heavy duty in that our larger members of the family that use it comment that it is very stable and does not move at all. I find the value of what I paid for what I received was a good value. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars!!!!

I just took delivery of this treadmill, and I couldn't wait to start using it. Please note, the package that you will receive is very big and very heavy. The packaging was great as it perfectly protected my purchase. Unpacking the treadmill was straightforward, and it comes with a very useful assembly tool set and an excellent assembly instruction manual. It is possible to asemble the treadmill by yourself, but a second pair of hands is very helpful when attaching the righthand upright. Fast forward about 75 minutes and the treadmill is ready to use. The built-in wheels help moving it, that is for sure. The running deck is very long, which is what I wanted, but its folding feature helps with storage. You can use external programs connected via Bluetooth if you want to, or you can use the manual settings. Adjustment of speed is very simple and fast to take effect. The increase in incline is equally simple and quickly applied and the electronic display is large, clear, and can be brightened or dimmed at your preference. I have had a Pro-Form treadmill before and it was good, this is definitley an upgrade, and it is very good quality. I am 6'2" 250lbs and this treadmill is perfect for my needs.

I know these reviews are sometimes lumped together, so to be clear I bought the ProForm Carbon TL. I was very impressed with the packaging. Some of the best I have seen; it even included metal bars to help protect the parts, although it would have been nice to include something to the effect that the metal bars were extra. The assembly was simple and straightforward and I quickly had my treadmill assembled. It's a solid machine and generally pretty quiet which was important to me because the only room with enough space for the treadmill is also our office.. Overall I'm impressed by the quality. The incline calibration and product activation were simple and clear as was the product manual. My only complaint is the infernal beeping. Every change - start, stop, incline chane, speed change, etc. - on the console produces an incredibly loud beep. It's loud enough to wake someone else in the house through closed doors. This also makes it impossible to use if someone is on a video call, which is an issue for me. These things can severely impact the times when I can work out. If this is not an issue for you then this is a great product.

We just received our pro-form carbon treadmill. It is durable, and is working well. However, I would not suggest purchasing it without the assembly assistance. It took two trained man one hour to put it together. They did an awesome job, but I would not describe it as easy to assemble.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought this treadmill last April, 2024. The treadmill was extremely faster than any other I have used, I have an additional treadmill at my house and I travel so have used multiple hotel tread mills. Not only was it fast but the belt would stop turning at any given time. I would step of and it would turn again, step back on and it would stop. I called the company, and as expected, this takes a long time to get through to file the issues. They decided to send me a new computer board for me to install. It took about 2 weeks - not a big deal and I am pretty handy so I installed the new board. The speed was better but the belt would stop turning during my workouts so I was having the same problem. I called for a second time to fill the complaint, for them to then decide to send another computer board, motor, and belt. Keep in mind this takes weeks/almost months to receive the parts and then coordinate with their tech to install the equipment. This is probably August 2024 timeframe that they installed the equipment. We used the treadmill for a month or two for IT TO ONLY DO THE SAME THING as the previous two complaints. This is now Fall 2024 and I have to call again. They decided to now send I worrying harness to be replaced that I once again had to wait for the part and then weeks/almost a month and a half to schedule this harness to be installed. I knew this would not fix the problem but you have to play their game. They replaced the harness, the treadmill sat a little due to travel, but when I started using it DOES THE SAME EXACT THING since I bought it - the belt stops turning during the workout. I called once again to file a complaint. I sent videos and pictures of the treadmill not working. I did not hear back from the company for 6 weeks after I filled the complaint. So again this treadmill is sitting waiting to hear from them. I called back to find out that they DID NOTHING WITH my last complaint. I had to go through this complaint folding once again, sent the video and pictures, once again, to wait to hear from them. So at this point I assume they would replace the unit as we can all agree this unit has not worked since I bought it and has sat months and months waiting for parts and maintenance. but NO, they emailed me that “due to dust on the machine they recommend I clean the machine and line the belt” OMG this is unbelievable!!! The treadmill had been sitting broke for months so I’m sorry I didn’t wax it broken before the complaint. The treadmill sitting next to it, in the same environment, has seemed to work just fine for 10 years. TIME for a LAWYER all over a $700 treadmill. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give this a ZERO.

I got this size treadmill because it fits into my space and because I will only be using it for walking, not running. The tread length and width are perfectly adequate for my strides, I am 6'1". I combined this treadmill with a Samsung Tablet that connects to wifi, to run Ifit App, and bluetooth to run the treadmill. I also have a pulse monitor that connects to the treadmill as well. I use Samsung Smart View to show the tablet screen on a 27" monitor that is mounted to the wall on a reticulating bracket. The connectivity requires some familiarity with using Apps and bluetooth devices, but so far I am very pleased with this setup. What may help you to know: There is no torsion bar on this model to help raise and lower the tread. However it is not too heavy or difficult to raise and lock in place by hand. Pay attention to the capability of the surge suppressor you buy, not all power strips are capable of providing the power needed to run this treadmill. From my manual"The surge suppressor must have a UL suppressed voltage rating of 400 volts or less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules. The surge suppressor must also be electrically rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps". The tablet I use is a Samsung Galaxy A9+, and it runs the Ifit App well. I recommend getting the pulse monitor, I use the Scosche Rythm +2, as the Ifit App controls your exercise speed well through the feedback. Connect the pulse monitor to the treadmill bluetooth BEFORE connecting the Ifit App to the bluetooth. The treadmill can handle both devices connected but the pulse monitor needs to connect first. The monitor I use is a Samsung 27 inch M5, I recommend getting the 32 inch as it offers more connection options and other capabilities you may like. It is not difficult to assemble if you are the least bit mechanically inclined and will follow the manual instructions carefully. It is 200 pounds but I could wheel the delivery carton on a dolly from my front porch to the room I had to assemble it in. The packaging seemed to protect the unit well during shipping. All in all, this is the right size treadmill for my use, I really like the Ifit App and the walking tours I have been on so far. The quality seems robust and I enjoy using it every day.

My initial plan was to buy a used treadmill but no luck after 2 months of searching for something decent. I decided to buy new as long as the price was under 1k and at least I knew I would have it delivered to my house and have protection in case anything went wrong. Can’t return a private sale lol. Only thing is, I knew I’d have to spend some time assembling. Ok fine! I ordered this treadmill and it was delivered in two days in perfect condition! Assembly was pretty simple and took maybe an hour and a half. I also got impatient and looked up a YouTube tutorial (much easier, highly recommend!) I am 5’ 1” and 140 lbs. I can walk and run with ease, usually between 3mph and 6mph. For being so compact, the treadmill is solid and does not wobble. I have it sitting directly on tile, no pad underneath. It is HEAVY. But again, solid! It doesn’t seem too loud, no different than any other treadmill I’ve used. It’s pretty cool that you can connect to it via Bluetooth and play music. Not the best speakers but it’s nice if you don’t have anything else. Cup holders are a good size. I have not tried the ifit feature but maybe in the future. There is a USBC port on the side so I plug in my phone to charge while I workout. I regularly run on incline 2-3 and walk on incline 5-10. My fiancé also walks on the treadmill regularly with no problem he is about 230lbs and almost 6 ft tall. Overall, this has been a great purchase for daily use, and for the price! I highly recommend it.

This has been a frustrating experience. Bought it about a month ago, it kept tripping my breaker, even tho it’s plugged into the same outlet as my previous treadmill was. Bought a surge protector, still tripped. Bought the Arc filter, still tripped. That was about $200 in unplanned spending I didn’t count on. Now I see the treadmill has also dropped in price by almost $400. That makes me even more sad. Lots of money spent on something that I can’t use as expected.
