Our 70 pound boxer loves this toy because he can throw it around and whip it around and it's soft enough that it doesn't hurt him! The only downside is that these are pretty expensive and we have already destroyed 3 of these because the rope pulls out from the stuffed football part pretty easily during tug-of-war! We continue to buy them because our Boxer LOVES them, but it would be great if there were a less expensive one (maybe without the NCAA branding/copyright fee) so that we wouldn't mind it so much when he destroyed it! If your dog just loves to throw toys around or retrieve things, this toy would last longer! I would pass on it if your dog loves to play tug-of-war or loves to tear apart soft toys and pull out the stuffing inside!

I thought I was getting a burnt orange or brown color ball. Instead, I got a bright orange ball. Within 10 minutes of play time, the strap broke on one end. The stitching is very light making this toy not a great toy for aggressive chewers.

I’m very confused pictures showed it as being brown and/or burnt orange. The ropes are burnt orange but the football itself is Oklahoma State orange. Disappointed…

My sister's dog really enjoyed chewing through this toy in a few hours. By day 2 the stuffing was out.

Worst product ever! Our dog started pulling out stuffing on the first day. We have tried to sew it up and tape it up -- to no avail. Our dog has many toys, even soft furry-covered ones, that have lasted (and are still lasting) much better than this piece of junk. We bought this product to replace a similar soft football that the dog still plays with daily after eight months. It is in much better shape than this product after a few days. Any suggestion of durability, toughness, or ruggedness is at best deceptive.
