**Q: Are they hemmed?**
A: Yes, these are hemmed.

**Q: Are these bags?  Can I put stuff inside of them?**
A: They are "flour sack" dish towels....great for drying dishes and glass ware. You would have to sew/stitch the edges together in order to make a bag.

**Q: do they have loops for hanging on a hook?**
A: No they do not, which unfortunately has resulted in tears in mine, but that is probably due to the hook I'm hanging them on (too easy to accidentally pierce them)

**Q: can these be silk screened on**
A: Yes, you should be able to silk screen these towels.
