H02 Hardwire Kit Review: Works in my 2024 Subaru Outback - I used this kit to hardwire a Kingslim D4 camera into my 2024 Subaru Outback. It works great. I used the second to smallest fuse in the fuse box under the dash. My camera now has constant power and I didn't use up a cigarette lighter plug. I also won't have any problem with the cigarette lighter plug vibrating loose and cutting off the power. I'm very pleased. Review: Works but flawed - 3 stars because the design is flawed. The ACC power is pre-installed with a fuse that may not fit your vehicle. This should be a detachable one like the constant power fuse. This greatly limits how the hardwire kit can be used as it depends on your vehicle. Currently I am using the constant power as an ACC, which is fine as using it as a constant source would drain my battery and would not allow the hardwire system to operate correctly.

Sharp night video!
I was in an accident some time after installation and the cam caught everything. My location and speed were very helpful.

Instructions seems to be off on which wire is ACC and which is constant power.
Instructions say Red to ACC and Yellow to constant. But when installing per the instructions, the camera immediately turns on when the car is off and never shuts off. When reversing the wires, Yellow to ACC and Red to constant, the camera turns on when I turn on the ignition and turns off when I turn off the car.

Cheap fuses
To preface, I am a certified automotive technician. Overall this was fairly easy to install, but the instructions are very generic. You will need a little bit of know how. I have a couple of issues with this particular kit. The fuse for the ACC wire does not appear to be serviceable, so if that blows for whatever reason you will be buying another kit. The second issue I had was the provided fuse for the add a circuit fuse adapter blew immediately when connecting it to the fuse box without having it connected to anything else. I ended up borrowing one of the spare fuses to make it work. Other than that it does seem to work as designed. In my cases there wasnโt too much extra wire, so it wasnโt hard to hide it under the dash.
