Most people use the train cases to transport and organize the tremendous amount of makeup and other necessities you need for competitions. I tried the train case in fact I bought several different ones and was always frustrated during competitions trying to find makeup, hairbands, bun donuts, lashes, glue, etc. This bag has been a pure life saver and other dancers from our studio have purchased this because of how easy it organizes and keeps everything in categories and visible. You need to be able to find various things at a moments notice and I found with the train cases I was always looking for things. I was able to effectively organize by category everything my daughters need. I use the end compartment for brushes and I generally keep things we need frequently in the little zippered pockets and I try and use the main compartment for things that are larger like baby wipes, hair spray, brushes, irons, etc. You can organize to suit your needs but it has been a life saver. Train cases seem like the obvious choice but when you actually use them you immediately become aware of there limitations and thats when you should purchase this. Unfortunately I went through a lot of train cases that were expensive before I wisened up and figured out what would work for my two daughters. They are also so much lighter even though bigger than train cases. My daughters now teenagers carry these on their own but were always complaining about the train cases being bulky and hard to manage with everything else. It's good for using in the house because all of the products together adds weight. It's not sturdy enough to be handled on a trip unless it's just by car. One of the snaps fell off and i didn't even have it snapped.
