These are way better quality than the ones I learned on. Nice weight, nice materials, seem to be holding up to use quite well. I was worried they would get dirty falling in the dirt and on pavement, but they seem to hold up quite well. Colors are vibrant and these are very well made. Enjoy playing with the kids with these. On a side note they also function well when used for juggling which I also found myself getting back into with these.
