I haven't used any kind of hair gel in years, partly because I hate that sticky, hard feeling, and mainly because the perfumes make me sick, but I finally decided that I needed something, and went looking to see what was out there.This stuff is just what I needed. It's light and UNSCENTED (Yay!!), and adds just enough body to my hair, which is fine and lacking in any body whatsoever. It actually doesn't seem like it's doing much, but when I use it and blow dry my hair, I have just enough body to make my hair look so much better, and that body sticks around even if I don't wash my hair and reuse it the next day. I've had so many compliments lately on my new haircut, and while my cut is a wee change from what it was, I think what they're actually seeing is the extra body to my hair, which makes such a difference.If you're looking for something to add a LOT of body or to do major styling, this isn't what you're looking for. But if you just want to perk your hair up a little, with no smell and no sticky feel to it, this is great.

I've been using this on my curly hair for years. This works so well for my hair without weighing it down or making it feel dirty. The consistency has been off lately though. Sometimes it comes thick and other times it comes thin. I can usually still use it but recently I had to send one bottle back that was completely watery.

Just a dab of this gel does the trick. And it’s fragrance-free, so you don’t put those harmful chemicals on your hair.

Ordered two. one was not in gel form and cannot return. buyer beware.

I couldn't live without this stuff. I have naturally neurotic hair that has a combination of straightish areas and also strong curls and kinks where it all wants to go the same way. In the winter it's flat and static-y but still has the strong kinks; in more humid weather it gets fuzzy, and if there's any wind whatsoever, I'm usually SOL for the day. For the last year I've had my hair thermally straightened (just for a break from the craziness).This gel has helped me with all of it. It definitely has NO smell. It is a very thick gel. Not oily; comes off the hands easily after applying to my hair. Hair will get a bit stiff when it dries, but it's easy enough to run a pick through it (when curly) or a brush/comb (when wavy/straight), and then it becomes very soft. I put it on wet hair before styling or air drying, I'll put it on dry hair in the winter to cut back on the static (especially when straightened). If they ever stop making it, I'm hosed. I've never found anything so completely fragrance-free and still reliable without being sticky or making my hair feel like it's dirty a few hours after I washed it.

Pros:1. Does not cakes on the hair or scalp.2. Brush runs through it easily.3. No smell. Perfect for allergies.4. Does not dry out my hair.5. No harmful chemicals. No allergic reactions for me.Cons:1. I do not like the pump bottle. A tube would be easier to get the exact amount needed, and to get the product out of the bottom of the bottle.2. Does not hold well. Wind blows hair everywhere, but it does come back to shape after re-brushing the hair.So for me 5 out of 7 gives it a 3 * rating. I wish I could give more, but the 2 negatives are very important to me.I will buy it again until I find something to replace it.

I have multiple skin and environmental allergies and this brand is the only one I can use on my hair and scalp. I have used the leave on conditioner and been happy with it. When this arrived today it was wrapped in plastic which is nice but after pushing on the dispenser top to get some product out, it would not dispense the hair product despite multiple attempts. I made sure the top was properly opened and everything. I even ran water through the dispensing pump to free any clogged product in it. Nothing worked so it was frustrating to have to remove the top to even try out the product.Once I was able to get some of the product on my hair, I was very disappointed with it. I expected it to be a gel that would help style my hair and get the frizz out and give it some volume. It did none of these things. I might as well have put a mist of water on my hair for all the good it did.So now I am back to either using nothing on my hair to manage the frizz and style it or buy a product that will cause an itchy allergic scalp. Very annoying.

Absolutely no scent!Some "unscented" products still have faint weird scents, but this one really doesn't.Great price!The only other unscented styling product I found was more than twice as expensive. I use more of this than I usually do for other products, but I still find it is well worth the price.Extremely light hold!Best for fine hair that is weighed down by most hair styling products. For example, I usually use about a pea-sized worth of hair paste diluted in lots of water. And sometimes it's still too much. With this gel, I use 1-2 pumps (2 to 4 times the amount) to get about the same effect. It distributes well so that you don't get stuck with clumps and bits of undissolved paste in your hair.Hair styling products are almost always too strong/heavy for my fine straight hair, so I'm thrilled to find something that I can use. Other reviewers have said it does nothing for them, so it might not work well for you if you have thick hair or need a strong hold.
