This café-latte brown is a great tone to blend in with my used brick fireplace wall. I also wanted the matte, fabric-like finish of gaffer tape. I was using the tape to disguise wires from TV, plant lights, etc. strewn across the brick to reach a power outlet. But whether tape was firmly applied to a cord carrier or just wrapped around a wire, the adhesive does not hold for more than a few weeks. I’ve used gaffer tape that behaved as expected—adhesive takes some work but with effort makes a solid, long-lasting seal. This item disappoints: no matter what I tried, adhesive fails too soon. That does make it easy to remove, so this tape is the right one if your need is temporary.

I have used this all around my windows framed in white vinyl. It actually improves the look of the windows while sealing out winter wind. The adhesive seems stronger than a Post-it note, but still peels off easily with no residue. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for removable weatherstripping. On the lower sash, I will remove it when the weather gets better on the upper sash. I will probably leave it on all year round.

This is my first experience with Gaffer tape. It's not working as I expected it to. I'm a retired computer tech, I've setup thousands of desktop computer systems, cables are always a problem. I thought I could use this tape to organize the cables but when I use the tape to try and bundle the cables, it doesn't stick to itself. After a few minutes it starts unwrapping and in a day or two it's laying on the floor. I don't know if it's this particular product or if that's the way gaffer tape works. I would not recommend this product.

I like the matte color, easy to tear and thickness but the adhesive is not that great. Other than that good for the price.

this tape is excellent for applications that require high strength, but don’t want adhesive residue left behind. I use this to secure audio equipment components such as taping down the tone arm to the length of its turntable or securing the dust cover to the turntable it can easily be peeled off without leaving any annoying adhesive and it is very strong, almost impossible to tear by hand.
