Easy to set up.

Had the older version that works great...the box keep stop responding . When I use the remoter the box shows that the remote is in use but will not change channel ,turn off or do anything. Follow up---contacted Roxy for support they were of no help to resolve the situation. Saying my 2024 tv was too old for a 2024 mag 544...I have a mag 254 that still work on all my tvs..waste of money ey here

I’ve had nothing but issues with this product! It constantly shuts down on its own. Every time you turn it on it runs for about 10 seconds and shuts back down again. You always have to turn it on twice every time you use it. You constantly have to reboot it and it often freezes. Save your money or buy a fire stick instead.

So far so good

The MAG544w3 is not a bad device, my only complaint with it is there is no support for VPN, but worked around that by also using a TP-Link AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Portable Router between the MAG and my regular home network. The device works with a older 1080p TV, but the setup can be a bit tricky, but plan to replace my old plasma TV with a newer 4K TV later this year. With the setup I have, it works like a charm and have had no IPTV streaming issues. I particularly like this for IPTV as it doesn't phone home anywhere as you will find with other devices that use Android OS coupled with Google TV. Since I am only using it for IPTV/OTT purposes, it serves my needs. The only difference between the MAG544 with or without the w3, is the w3 variant has built-in Wi-Fi support (Dual-band 550 Mbps Wi-Fi module (MAG544w3 only). The LAN port is 1000mps, HDMI 2.1 port, 2x USB 2.0 ports, Quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU, 2,000 MHz, 4 GB eMMC storage, 1 GB LPDDR4 RAM, ARM G31-MP2 graphics card, 850 MHz and comes with the full size remote to make viewing IPTV easy. I do also find the documentation for the device is a bit sketchy and lacks good details on all the settings and features. You will find a few videos out there on how to setup the MAG544, but even those only scratch the surface and rarely cover setting up your IPTV provider properly. This device is not for you if you want other typical android streaming app services.
