5-HTP 200mg, 180 Capsules (6 Month Supply) - Double Strength 5 HTP with Added Chamomile by Puretality

I was drawn to this product as it seemed to address three issues which have plagued my 60 year old body in recent years. So after a couple of weeks of a daily 200mg dose, I can state ...1. Don't believe that I have Fibromyalgia as such but I do have bad osteoarthritis in my knees, hips and lower back - no noticeable change.2. Sleep disorder - sleep reasonably well but always wake up two or three times during the night - no noticeable change.3. A couple of bouts of depression & anxiety have been treated well with Citalopram in recent years and it's been several months since my last course. Everything pointed to an issue with serotonin production and Citalopram was excellent in this respect but had an unwanted side effect that I could do without. I could tell within a couple of days that 5-HTP was having the same effect as Citalopram and I'm very aware of an inner calm and zero anxiety levels as a result of the seratonin uplift. No side effects, so excellent in this respect as far as I'm concerned.

I brought these to help with mood swings mainly . Have only been taking for a week but they are amazing. I was very sceptical reading other reviews but thought what have I got to loose . Mood swings have gone completely and I have so much more energy. Can’t recommend these enough . Don’t know how or why they work but they certainly have for me . I feel I have my life back .

I've used this product before on the basis of the recommendation of a friend who shares this advise to anyone feeling low and depressed, or anxious - or as in my case, struggling to sleep well. This particular brand is double-strength, and I find it works for me, I can now count on sleeping every night for at least 6 hours, which has made a world of difference! One tablet before bedtime. Will definitely buy 5-HTP again ..

After a really depressive time in my life I was led to these tablets by a friends recommendation. I suffer with anxiety and have recently been heartbroken by the break down of my relationship. Although these tablets aren’t the miracle cure, I’ve found since taking these accompanied with working out and looking after myself and my health I’m miles stronger mentally and wake up every day with abit more bite and passion for life!!

So far the effects of this have been amazing. Bad days are still bad but I rarely feel down for no reason - more of a general contentness, making it easier to do the small functional things like get out of bed when I should and put a few extra hours into writing a paper. WIll definitly continue use and have recomended to friends.

5-HTP helps me on two fronts, anyone familiar with the supplement will know it is a precursor to serotonin and melatonin. It has helped me sleep a lot better and feel better during the day.Don't expect it to be the cure for depression or that it will knock you out like a prescribed sleep medication, it will just aid you in seratonin/melatonin production.
