This stuff is fantastic. So much better than regular store bought tape.
So, I just recently started BJJ again. When I did it years ago, I don't know if my skin was tougher or what, but I didn't have so many issues with burns on my feet. Now I do. Every time I go to class, especially if we're practicing single-leg takedowns, the foot that drags on the mat gets burns on the top of the foot and the toes. It's super annoying. I went to CVS and bought some tape, and it would instantly fray and inevitably come off my toes a half-hour into practice. This stuff doesn't. I didn't know tape like this even existed. I don't think it did that last time I did BJJ. This stuff is amazing. It does not come off. It doesn't fray. It stays right in place and really protects my feet. Having said that, it's not so sticky that when I take it off, it removes whatever scabs I have that are currently healing on my foot. So, it's safe to put directly on your scabs without worrying about pulling them off when you remove it. It's really fantastic tape. I'll be a customer so long as I continue to need it (hopefully my skin toughens up soon). I haven't had any finger or toe injuries yet (other than burns), but I have a lot of training parters who use this tape to splint one toe or finger to another and they say it works great. I give it two thumbs way up. I'm a customer for life. And it's cheap! A roll of crappy tape that frays and comes off from the drugstore cost me over $6. I don't really remember, but I think I got 8 rolls of this stuff for like $8 or $9. That's an incredible value. I can't recommend this tape more. You will not regret purchasing it.

Strong!!!!
I bought when I replaced my belt with a new one, and the stripes were perfect with no half ripping, they just worked great, plus now its nice to have it to help my fingers

One of Two Tapes I Use Climbing
Batches vary in adhesiveness, likely due to the lack of temperature control during shipping or storage, but not so much as to significantly decrease quality. My first batch (6 pack) was an eye-opener in terms of quality for tape. Sticks well for a couple hours of average-difficulty climbing if you tape correctly. Second batch (12 pack) does not seem as impressive, but is still relatively of much higher quality than any other tape Iโve tried. Doesnโt leave the yucky bits like other tape used to, but my hands just may have gotten rougher. Itโs probably not the best idea, but I even use it to seal cuts or torn-off flappers to keep climbing. One more thing: Itโs a bit hard to tear, but Iโd rather have to use scissors over having tape fall of in the middle of a climb.

Stays on when you need it, but removes easily when you don't.
Good and economical finger tape. It s a little hard to tear off the roll from time to time, otherwise it stays on and works great for my hard rolling sessions, but is also easy to remove afterwards.

Excellent Tape for Finger and Toe Protection
The Gold BJJ Jiu Jitsu Tape is a must-have for anyone training in grappling sports. Itโs incredibly strong and durable, offering excellent support for fingers and toes during intense training sessions. The 1/2" width is perfect for wrapping joints without feeling bulky, and it stays securely in place even during sweaty, high-impact rolls. The adhesive holds up well but is still easy to remove without leaving a sticky residue. Whether you're preventing injuries or taping up existing ones, this tape provides solid protection and comfort. A great addition to any grappler's gear bag!

No more wastly randomly-torn piles. The best for stripe promotions!
If you operate a martial arts school, and you are tired of seeing piles of randomly torn, unfinished, oddly sized rolls of tape, then this is the tape for you. In the past, I had 2 alternatives for creating stripes to put on a promoted student's belt: 1) buy whole rolls and try to pre cut the rolls with a utility knife, or 2) Hastily grab a roll in the middle of class and tear it as evenly as best you can. I quickly found out that it is very difficult to cut a 1.5 wide roll into 3 evenly spaced .5 rolls. The adhesive grabs your blade and makes it a 1 hour project per roll. If you just grab a roll as needed and tear it the best you can, you'll end up with wasted unfinished rolls (like in the image I attached). This is the ultimate solution for me. I can tear off a 10" length in the middle of class in about 3 seconds. The edges are sharp and clean and look great on a belt. The adhesive seems to be holding up well on cloth and itself. I cannot speak to the effectiveness of it being finger tape, because I have asked my students to start providing their own and storing in their gym bags - lest they accidentally start using these sweet babies.

Great tape! Will be purchasing regularly.
Used for blisters during Muy Thai, and it held up the entire 1.5hr session no problem. No sign of loosening or losing its hold.

My opinion
Itโs alright. In my opinion, itโs too wide and inflexible

Nice tape!
Nice tape with a useful width and held up well under training. However since its cotton with an elastic adhesive, it lossens somewhat if you wash your hands or get the tape wet.

Nothing special
Didn't find these tapes any better then anything else I tried before. Standard finger tapes, fall off pretty easily, so im a bit disappointed.

Falls off when full of sweat.
Very happy. Very good tape. But it does fall off when soaked in sweat. Falls off during BJJ rolls.
