An excellent way to enjoy podcasts or music while still interacting with surroundings.
A very versatile purchase. The bone conduction works well and I use it to listen to podcasts, audio versions of business articles, or relaxing classical or electronic music while still being able to naturally hear the sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling when I am enjoying a book or tablet newspaper at my local parks. I also use it for cycling, running, gardening, working out or when working from home at my desk. My expensive top brandname pro earbuds have transparency mode but there is nothing better than hearing the direct sounds of nature and interacting with the world around me. I can now also talk to people on the street and in shops without the hassle pausing the playback every time. Hearing the real sound of my own voice when I speak is another advantage, rather than me sounding muffled by earbuds plugging my ears. The batteries really do last 12 hours rather than the annoying 2-hour-listen-20-minute-charge cycles of earbuds. The rubberised finish is comfortable and flexible so I don’t worry about it breaking in my pocket, and it fits well with no squeezing nor worrying about it falling off at all. It’s like having a real life soundtrack on in the background while still interacting with the world in real life and being fashionable. An excellent upgrade at a low price.

I like em!!
I had no idea bone conduction headphones were a thing til I went looking for your usual can like headphones! I don't like earbuds in my ears, so was swung immediately by the fact these don't sit in the ears, but on the jaw/cheekbone, though I admit, several times already, I have gone to put them on like normal over the top of the head headphones doh! :) So, the nuts & bolts of these is...they are super lightweight and easy to wear (behind the head and ear phones parts on the bone in front of your ears) Easy to unpack, charge and set up, a simple pairing sync will link to your laptop or phone etc which I found easy enough, and I am no tech expert I assure you. I do running and never use headphones because I like to be aware of what's going on around me, and I'm comforted by the sound of my own wheezing lol, but I could use these as the ear is still open and therefore can still be alerted to a car horn say. The sound they offer is immersive & listening to frequency sounds from my laptop is my favoured use for them so far, but I can see them becoming very useful for a variety of things, gardening while listening to a podcast? exercising my dog? in the bath? (careful!! lol) housework, travelling...I see many people on trains with huge dustbin looking headphones on that must be awkward to use on and off trains etc, these Bone Conduction Headphones are small, lightweight, easy to wear whether using them or not, and I'm very impressed with them.

Great quality at affordable price.
Purchased the L5 Bone Conduction Headphones after reading lots of reviews of affordable headphones. Purchased for sole purpose of running long distances and wanted something to allow me to listen to music safely. I have used the headphones with and without a winter hat and both situations were very comfortable. The sound was good quality and was loud enough with the traffic driving past. Only time I noticed them was when I turned my head but this was not uncomfortable in any way- just that they were light and comfortable for the majority of the run so it was easy to forget you were wearing them. Very easy to set up and use. Would recommend.

Great sound quality, plus you can still hear the world around you.
These are fantastic - I have been sceptical about these for a while but am so glad I took the plunge. Great sound quality, plus you can still hear the world around you, so great for cycling or just being active outdoors, having music to listen to, but also still being able to hear traffic, etc. Genuinely impressive with good battery love, good sound quality, and a good fit. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

One size does not fit all
OK, so I'm new to the concept of bone conduction earphones and I bought these for playing live music so I could listen to what I was doing but here the click track in my ears as well. Much of what I am going to say may be true of all bone-conducting earphones - I am not an expert - I can only say what I think of these, albeit compared to other standard earbuds or headphones. Firstly, they don't fit my (pretty normal adult) face very well so the actual drivers are not held tight against my cheekbones and this leads to wildly sweeping differences in the frequency spectrum. If I press them lightly against my face then the sound is good, but without that pressure the high end disappears completely. Secondly, and maybe because they are a loose fit, certain frequencies cause a noticeable vibration against the skin which is like the irritating buzzing of a fly. It also feels like they are constantly moving or slipping down when this is probably just a psychological reaction to the buzzing, tickling sensation. Thirdly, the neckband tends to fall down towards the shoulders for stability but I can only imagine what would happen if one were running or dancing about as this would tend to want to bounce up and down and, at least for me, render anything I was listening to no better than a phone in my top pocket, so I doubt I'll be using them on stage. Having said all that, my girlfriend says they are great so, within an hour of trying them, I had given them to her. I can only surmise she has a more mainstream countenance than I do.
