Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim, Join Saleem The Cat, as he learns about the importance of “Alhamdulillah”- a reminder to appreciate the blessings in his life, whether big or small and always be thankful to Allah (SWT). Filled with beautiful illustrations, this rhyming story will introduce your child to the concept of "Alhamdulillah", and the reason why we should say it in every aspect of our lives. It encourages young muslims to examine their life and count their blessings while giving thanks to Allah (SWT). Featuring a cute and cuddly cat named Saleem, this book teaches an important moral lesson in a fun way. It is suitable for both boys and girls, and a perfect light read before bedtime to end your child's day with Islamic education. This book would make a great Eid gift and is a must-have for your Islamic bookshelf! Review: Great story - This book by Sameera Sajjad was a wonderful read for my kids. The language is simple, warm, and engaging, which made it easy for them to follow along and stay interested. I especially appreciated how the message was meaningful without feeling forced—it opened up great conversations with my children afterward. It has quickly become one of our favorite read-together books, and I would absolutely recommend it to other parents looking for positive, values-based stories to share with their kids. Review: What a great book! - This is my 4 month old’s favorite book! He lights up as soon as he sees it. He loves looking at the pictures and hearing the rhythms. It’s beautifully written and illustrated. It has a lovely message which is simple enough of younger kids to understand and learn from.

Good lesson for young Muslims
The story is perfect for little Muslims. It’s creative and imparts a good lesson: try not to complain and say Alhamdullilah. There are illustrations on every page and the larger lettering is helpful for young readers. This has been a great addition to our home library.

Sweet, meaningful, and my kids actually ask for it at bedtime!
This book is such a gem. I picked it up hoping to add a little more Islamic learning into our nightly reading routine, and Saleem the Cat totally delivered. The rhymes are fun and easy to follow, and the message about gratitude—saying “Alhamdulillah” for all the little blessings—is beautifully woven into the story. My kids loves the illustrations (Saleem is adorable), and has started saying “Alhamdulillah” more often, which honestly warms my heart. It’s not preachy, just gentle and relatable. Perfect for young kids who are just starting to understand Islamic values.
