Allows you to enjoy riding lots more.
I bought the two pack Pro because I really wasn’t sure what I’d like for my bike. I ride a stock Indian Roadmaster so it’s not a loud VTwin. I wear an LS2 Advant II helmet. I absolutely love these ear plugs. They are easy to put in, they don’t try to pop out when I put my helmet on or take it off, and they reduce noise tremendously. When you first wear them you’ll think they aren’t doing much but you’ll find that you can hear your music at a lower volume and hear your pipes with minimal wind noise. Also, I’ve always hated wearing ear plugs, but after a few rides you forget they are there. For highway I wear the reds and around town the blacks although they both work great in either scenario. If my wife is a passenger she also likes them because she is above the wind screen or I’m not blocking wind if she’s looking around. They allow her to hear the pipes or the music too. She also likes the fact that it doesn’t take me a week for my hearing to recover after long rides. Last week, I was sold after a 2 hour highway ride with truck and car traffic, buffeting wind at various times, and I got home with no ear fatigue.

Can hear talking, but not wind noise - just don't push them in too far
I'm a big guy with a big head (XL ~ 2XL helmet), but I think I have average ear holes and these fit great - just as long as you're careful to do the "push and twist" in a way that you can easily reach the pull handles - otherwise you may need some help from someone with nails to get them out. It's surprising both how comfortable they are - compared to, say, the generic / home depot silicone work earplugs - as well as how much vocals come through. They're definitely not as quiet as the 3m foamies but I think that's good because I enjoy the sounds of the road - I just want to protect my hearing, not block out the whole world - which these are great for. I bought the 2-pack, but I've only used the Touring so far and I like them. Side Note: There's no such thing as "noise canceling" ear plugs. All non-electronic ear plugs are "noise isolating". Noise canceling would require an active, powered, inverted signal and would most likely damage your ears at such volumes. Not that anyone cares, but words matter, you know?

Hearing protection that does what it advertises
The 20db plugs work! I have tried the generic foam ear plugs, nonoise, and eargasm, and these Alpine plugs definitely make a noticeable reduction in wind noise on my Ducati Diavel Strada. I haven't tried the 17db units yet but I like having more silence and I'm willing to bet these would be about the same as the other ear plugs I've tried. I definitely recommend them for good hearing protection and if they need replacing these 20db units are what I'll purchase. The carrying case is pretty but quite unrealistic for motorcyclists -- it's too large and basically requires to be stored in a pocket. I actually use my nonoise cylinder to carry my Alpines as that can be easily attached to my main zipper or a pocket zipper. The ear plugs fit in it perfectly. So for being marketed for motorcyclists in a case that was clearly not designed by a motorcycle rider. I don't ride with music playing and certainly don't wish to be distracted by talking on a smart phone so I cannot comment on how effective they are with external comms. I have slightly smaller ear canals and they fit fine. No discomfort at all, even under a snug Arai helmet. If they got rid of the ear plug cleaner (just use rubbing alcohol) that doesn't even fit in the carrying case, the packaging plastic tray, and used a smaller and more practical carrying case then the cost could be dropped. Right now I think it is a bit spendy for what one gets, even accounting for two different pairs of protection. I've read the reviews on durability so we'll see how that goes. So far so good! One star deducted due to higher cost and because the carrying case totally missed the motorcycle usage mark.

Great earplugs
Just the right amount of noise reduction imo. I bought the pro version and use the high filter red ones and like them a lot more than the loop ear plugs I've been using. These are more comfortable in my opinion and the tips dont fall off. Try em out I think youll like them. You can still here the engine of your bike, still hold a conversation, and hear everything else around you. It also doesnt feel too quiet if that makes sense.

Essential for high speeds...
Great ear plugs. Essential for riding on freeway and/or above 60+ mph. If you regularly find yourself at speeds above 100 mph, these are a no-brainer. To work effectively, you must use the applicator tube, and really sink then into your ear canal. Once they are inserted properly, they stay put. Wind noise is reduced significantly. Music volume is lowered, but can still be heard. Would be nice if they included more than 1 applicator. If you lose yours like I did, a straw that is about the same size as the tip works great.

Choose wisely, good quality.
I don't like to give less than optimal ratings but these didn't really perform how I thought they would. They absolutely do cut down on noise while allowing you to hear, and they're very comfortable! The little case they come is is very nice also. I have a Honda Cb500x with a moderately noisy exhaust, and without earplugs, the noise is not bad inside of your helmet. With these earplugs however the exhaust noise becomes almost unbearable inside my helmet, it feels much louder than it actually is. I'm not sure if it's my helmet or something else, but because of my exhaust these are unusable both the red and black models. All of that said, they do have a plus! I wore them to a fairly heavy music concert and they did excellent! The decibels were definitely reduced to a comfortable level, and sound was still pretty clear- much better than foam earplugs! As far as motorcycling goes I can't necessarily recommend them, but they're still worth having around, especially if you have a quiet bike!

Long term use of product
I used the red ones for motorcycle riding. I've had them since 2021 have mixed reviews. First the negatives- these plugs need to be perfectly inserted into the ear canal or they allow noise to transmit around them which is terrible if just one of them is not inserted properly; you'll know after a few minutes of riding because the balance of the noise will be to one side. You'll need to stop and adjust them. This is an ergonomic issue and nothing to do with the product itself. Second, the tail on the exterior side of the plug, at least for me, needs to be inserted at the top of the ear canal so as to allow the ability to grip the tail for removal of the earplug. This is very important; I struggled for quite a while trying to grab the tail when it was inserted down along the bottom of the ear canal. Third, after about 100 or so uses, the tail snapped off with the plug still in the ear. This was all bad. Thankfully, I was able to get my fingernail wedged into the body of the plug to dig it out, scratching my ear with my fingernail. Not fun. The noise cancelling was acceptable but would rather have a higher NRR/SNR rating than 21. Only because I have Michelin Anakee Wild tires on my motorcycle and they howl like nobody's business on the street and hard surface dirt roads above 40mph. Overall a good product except for the broken tail. Would like a higher NRR/SNR.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent ear plug, premium quality, very useful. But the price is high for 4 pieces of rubber in box.
