This is probably one of my favorite little lamps I have ever gotten!Comes beautifully packaged so it would make a great gift. You get a high quality little storage bag and charging cable along with the light. The touch sensor works really well, not too sensitive but responds well and easy to adjust brightness and mode. The LED inside can be placed into a ton of configurations because of the design and strong magnet at the top pulls it straight and and allows it to suspend in midair.The quality of the materials is fantastic, from the light itself, to the casing, and base. The base has a thin rubber so that there is not sound when placed on a surface. This isn’t for lighting up a room but more as a decorative option, something that can be used on a desk, bookcase or nightstand to add a little bit of funkiness to your decor.So impressed with this little light! It’s hard not to fiddle with it as you walk by!

just as promised, this exceeds expectations.it's not often that i can say that an object delights the senses. this reminds me of something that i would find at NYC MOMA's gift shop or somesuch. fun, questionably practical, but nonetheless interesting ideas that you can see, hold, and buy (sometimes with unlimited wallets required). this one i got for review, and it was well worth the price. it comes in a box enclosing a nicely textured secondary box, in which the light sits with a velvet carry case and a USB plug. push the button to turn it on and the sensory play begins. touch the lamp and the light follows in intensity and the filament moves around according to gravity as you flip the thing from side to side. push the bottom button enough times and wish it a good night, or for a little time to recharge. give it a name, even.this is beauty in a box. fun for yourself, for a friend, for a gift. for the joy of joy.it's almost christmas as of the writing of this review. merry christmas to you, too.

Tap once for 10%, tap twice for 100%, tap three times for Breathing effect. A fourth tap will turn the light off. Instructions required to learn this, and must be retained for future users. It uses a USB-C charging cable which eliminates orientation issues of prior generation USB power cables.Utility is medium-high. Functions well in all 3 lighting modes if adequately charged or plugged in. Uses a sealed, non-replaceable rechargeable battery making this a disposable item after a fixed amount of charges. Not designed to illuminate a room, but instead to add a lighting effect - especially in the breathing mode where it pulsates gradually from low to high and back every 8 seconds. The glowing plastic filament can operate coiled at the bottom of the lamp, or straight up - being suspended by an internal magnet. If the lamp is constantly tilted back and forth, coiling and uncoiling the filament, it will damage the internal LED lights making the device useless. Recommend keeping it coiled or extended to your preference. The highest, most functional feature is the Breathing Effect, which allows you to pace deep, healthy breathing to the light.Value is relatively high at $34.99 or less. This is a specialty item best used to regulate breasting - not a toy to be played with. It uniqueness as a health-tool and conversation-piece is one-of-a-kind.

I like curiosities and cool things, probably too much. I was definitely swayed by some of the other reviews on this one - "cool", "elegance", "truly beautiful"The best I can say is it's cute. It's the same kind of novelty as a plasma ball but it has less of a wow factor. The dome is a nice thick glass but the base is a very cheap plastic....and it looks like it. I think if the base was a nicer material, this could be marketed as a grown-up version of a plasma ball but they missed the mark.If you don't already have a plasma ball and you still would like a light trinket, get that instead.At $50, save your money.

Okay, this isn't a great light source, not if you're wanting to light a large(r) area, but that's not what it's intended for or where the value lies.When I saw it, I ordered it because of its uniqueness, and I wasn't disappointed. Every time someone comes into my house, they'll see the light and ask what it is. After I show them, they'll play with it, usually ask where I got it, etc. It's a great conversation piece and 'gadget,' with a nice look to it. It even comes with a nice bag to store it in, a cleaning cloth to get the fingerprints off, and there will be a *LOT* of fingerprints! lolThe 'breathing effect' is really cool. As other reviewers have stated, it's not a large light at 2.75 x 2.75 x 5.7 inches, but it's fun, attractive and I've never seen one like it.Is it worth the money? Well, that's for every individual to decide, but I do feel like it's maybe just a bit 'pricey,' but I am glad I ordered it.
