Brilliant and perfect for shomer shabbat!
I recently purchased this product for myself from a store (the online purchase was done for a friend who did not like it) and removed my previous review. So most of the comments to this review would not make any sense (I previously reviewed this item as not working based on the words from my friend).Kosher clock has great 3 modes:1) everyday use with snooze button2) shabbat mode with time window displayed, but the buttons are closed to prevent accidentally pressing on them3) travel mode that covers all buttons and time window to prevent damageIt has 2 volumes (loud and soft) and vibrate options. I have the clock next to my bed and can hear the soft volume pretty well. No one else wakes up. Not only does it sound alarm, it also lights up the time window so I can see what time it is when I wake up as well as what's around me. The soft light shuts off after about 10-15 seconds while the alarm continues to go off and shuts off automatically after 60 seconds. There is no auto snooze so it will not wake you up again after 10 minutes because you did not stop the alarm. The manufacturer recommends setting up another alarm 10 minutes later (sort of a snooze). In total there are 10 alarms that you can set. I think it's great to make people get up quickly as the very first halacha of shulchan aruch requires.Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

nice flexible clock
The clock works nicely with its different modes: Shabbas, weekday and travel. You can toggle between seeing the day in English and Hebrew which is nice. It has a lot of flexibility with 10 alarms and one weekday setting where what you set applies to each week day (different days for civil vs. Hebrew setting). There are 3 alarm tone settings: off, low and high. Initially I thought the high alarm tone wasn't high enough, but I was wrong. When I set the alarm properly, my son woke up to it and complained to me that it was annoying (I was watching him and the alarm to see what would happen). Personally, I find the alarm tone to be fine and I now think it is an excellent clock.

Solid Noise Level, Not Super User Friendly
The alarm provides enough noise to wake me up with the first alarm (if you're a deep sleeper, though, I wouldn't rely on this by any means). Along with that, the alarm lasts for enough time to wake a person up but not too long to just get way too annoying. At the same time it's not so easy to use, especially compared to alarms on smartphones. On top of that, there's only one sound you can chose, which shouldn't be the case.A solid alarm that beat my expectations a bit as a "kosher" product.

New and Much Improved Kosher Clock
The new Kosher Clock is amazing! It has so many programmable alarms and three modes: Shabbos, Weekday and Travel. The buttons are large and easy to use. It's incredibly easy to program and reprogram. It even has a volume button to raise or lower the alarm sound. The display is large and great. The overall look of the clock is funky and stylish. The overlay that protects it during travel is incredibly cool. It also converts for Shabbos to cover the buttons: nice! A great gift for anyone, especially those who keep Shabbos and would benefit from many alarms.

Great clock!
Perfectly convenient for Shabbat! If only it would also kick my son out of bed...

Clock Bombed
The clock concept is an excellent idea. However, the clock itself was flimsy, hard to set and didn't even work. It was a terrible disappointment.

For the Price, Should Have Lithium/Rechargeable Battery
It’s a good idea, but can be cumbersome to set all the needed alarms (and then re-enter the menu and delete the alarms used for yuntif), and for almost $40, the unit should really have a built-in lithium battery, rechargeable by USB. Instead it requires batteries to be changed without any warning (to my knowledge) that they’re low.

Exceptionally useful and well-designed
I use my Kosher Clock every day and I would not travel without it especially if I’m going away for Shabbos (the Sabbath). The Product Description for this alarm clock tells you everything you need to know about it, but my personal favorite is that you can set up to TEN alarms! For me, that means that I can one wake-up time for Mondays and Thursdays, another for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for Shabbos two alarms (one morning, one afternoon) and yet one more for Sundays – when I get to sleep a little later! And with all of those, I still have alarms “in reserve” should I need them. The alarms are easy to set, easy to change, and you can see the time displayed in either 12 or 24-hour mode. Another nice feature is that when I replace the batteries, all my settings are saved long enough for me to take the old batteries out and put the fresh ones in.One last note: my Kosher Clock sits on a dresser across the room and in all the years I’ve owned it, it’s always been loud enough to wake me.
