Nice but not the colour I was expecting
It smells lovely and applied lovely but it wasn’t the colour I was expecting was more of a red than a orange

Brilliant!
I got this after going to the hairdresser and having my roots bleached. I ended up with some pretty light rootage and the bottom of my hair being honey blonde. So rather than taking my hair through another invasive chemical process (which I couldn't anyway because of previous damage), I got this colour conditioner. I'm calling it a colour conditioner but realise its far more complex than that, it is an actual colour but the texture is conditioner like. I knew it was a gamble to put colour straight back in to bleached hair without taking it through a re-pigmenting process, but figured this was worth a gamble being preside and ammonia free. Boy did it pay off! Because 812 has warm tones in it as well as a light brown, it didn't make my hair go green and instead took the roots down to a lovely honey blonde which now matches with the rest of my hair. The additional plus was that it smelled beautiful and it leaves your hair feeling silky. One caveat though - from bitter experience, if your hair is totally fried, go to the salon and invest in multi Olaplex treatments. I go weekly for mine (yep, expensive but my guy does me a deal - barter!). It stops breakage and brought my hair back from the brink of chewing gum, almost shaving off disaster! When I applied 812, I had just got back from the salon with Olaplex 1 and 2 still on my head and did it straight over the top. I'm not sure what it would have been like straight after bleaching otherwise, so beware of just dumping it on to very porous bleached locks without the added benefit of a pre-protein builder in your hair shafts! Overall, a fantastic product which will do the job of re-pigmenting my hair gradually, rather than a single salon process. Over time this will allow me to take my (now) entirely honey blonde locks to a balayage or blended root look. Very happy and would recommend (with the caveats mentioned). Btw, I'm not a hairdresser, I'm just a very happy honey blonde who thought it would be good to share!

Fantastic!
I’m am over 50 and have regular blonde highlights which I felt were to light, so I decided on a toner to tone down the blonde a bit, just subtle, so I chose shade 812 as I wanted a mushroom brown shade, the product was easy to use, (pump not to good), so I put it on dry hair I used a clean dry make-up brush and painted it over my highlights, but I did do a patch/strand test first just to check it wouldn’t go orange or green, but it was ok so I did the rest of my hair, i combed it through and put clingfilm round my hair & a towel I left it for an hour, longer than it says, then I washed my hair, then conditioned it, I left it for 3 mins washed it off, then dried & styled my hair, I’m just over the moon with the colour and the condition of my hair & happy that if I need to I can tone down my blonde highlights as the purple shampoos just didn’t work for me, so as I’d had a toner at the hairdressers before I decided I try a toner for myself, it worked brilliantly for me, but best to follow the instructions carefully and do a patch/strand test to check first, now I know it works I will try different beige shades etc! Thanks Amazon I know I can always get what I want and quickly!

Used to tone out the brass. Leaves hair soft and smells fab. Not for ever day use
I have gingery hair which is highlighted but with home bleaching my hair always looks brassy and damaged. I wanted something which would make it more ashier toned and also be hydrating. I read the reviews and thought this might be what I was looking for. Firstly it smells lovely, the colour of it seems quite dark and it's only a relatively small bottle for the money. I left it on for 15mins on towel dried hair to blend out the brass. It did do this to an extent and left my hair soft afterwards. I think it's a little overpriced for what it is though, so il only use it after bleaching or when it gets brassy again. Used in combination with purple shampoo it does help to even out the tone, although I think I would leave it on longer next time. I wouldn't use it every time I wash as it will be gone in no time!

I wouldn’t use anything else for refreshing colour
My hairdresser recommended this to refresh vibrant colours between salon visits, I’ve used the bright red and copper colours and my hair is always as vibrant as the day it was coloured professionally. I usually use this in the shower and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing and it will last a good few washes before re-applying. I would recommend to use gloves as the product will stain skin, and careful to wash it away in your shower as soon as it touches a surface as it will stain that also. Overall a great product, it also acts as a hair mask so gives my hair a good conditioning treatment.

Very conditioning
I ordered 1002, which did make some of my hair quite white and did take the brass of my roots, I wasn’t expected my whole head to be white anyway but it would be nice if the results were to last longer, it’s not a great toner but is definitely a good one and if nothing else it’s made me hair feel amazing and the best it’s felt for a long time, it also smells amazing, so I will be repurchasing in the future as a deep conditioning treatment, I’ve spent soo much money in the past on expensive conditioning treatments and this has been the best I’ve used which I really wasn’t expecting, it’s conditioned my hair that well that even my friend and my partner noticed how much better by hair looks

Chestnut = ash brown.
I have used the fire red and purple red before and the colours have been true to the colour shown on the bottle. I can’t fault the formula at all. It’s always been my go to when I’ve been bright red in the past. However I tried the chestnut colour and it’s definitely an ash tone rather than a more red tone. I needed it to be red based as I’m currently dying over green so I needed the red to cancel out the green. (Colour theory) before I go dark brown permanently. It’s stained my gloves blue. Again I’d say there’s nothing wrong with this brand and product. I think the other colours I’ve used have been great. I just don’t feel like the colour on this bottle resembles the colour I received. I hope this helps someone who is looking for what the chestnut colour looks like.
