I didn't know that I could get this product in this country. I am so pleased it is here. You may think it is expensive, but I am sure it will last a long time as it is so well made. It gets used every day and if it did break I would have to buy another one immediately. My husband has taken over the lemon squeezing duty, as he can squeeze more juice out than me. I've got a small kitchen and only want to buy one.** A: They all have quite a gap when fully depressed. Even the lemon or lime squeezers will not completely press the thin skinned small lemons or limes. You could squeeze a bunch of them and then put the squeezed peels all back in together for a final squeeze or put small sheet of rubber in the press. On thick skinned citrus they work fine. **Q: where is this made?** A: I honestly don't know where it's manufactured (my guess is somewhere in Europe), but I can say that I've had mine for over 7 months and it is an extremely high quality tool that is virtually unbreakable regardless of the amount of pressure you exert on it to squeeze even a large half lemon. It squeezes every last drop of juice out of the lemon. It is clear that it is of commercial quality.
