Fits the Octagon shape perfectly
I bought this cover to use on the octagon sand box it was designed for. It fits perfectly and comes with heavy duty plastic anchors. So far we haven’t had the need to use the anchors but I’m sure they will come in handy over the winter. It was super easy to use, just unfold and put in place. The cover is made of heavier canvas type material and I think it will easily withstand the constant rubbing against the edges of the sandbox and any larger toys left in the box when the cover is on. Like any cover, water collects in it when it rains, but it doesn’t seep through and keeps the sand mostly dry. You just have to scoop the water out with a bucket before you remove the cover. That just tells me the water isn’t going through to drench the sand! The only moisture is from below, because the sandbox is sitting on grass. If you have a solid, non-porous base, I would expect the sandbox would be completely dry!

Great product! Protects from rainstorms!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love love love this cover! It is protected our sandbox through some of the heaviest rain that we’ve seen in years. I love how it fits exactly it doesn’t tear easily and has extra strap to secure around. I can’t say enough about this great purchase…great price.

Worth the money

Durable, easy to use cover
We used this to cover our octagon shaped sandbox, similar to the pictures. It fits great and I like the drawstrings and the strap to make it tight around the sandbox and secure it. I found that 6-7 5 gallon buckets under the cover keep the rainwater from pooling. So far it keeps the water/bugs/creatures out of the sandbox which is exactly what I was looking for.

Disappointed
Every time it rains the sand is still wet. Very disappointing.

Strap doesn’t fit
The size of the tarp is perfect. Premium thickness and handles make this a great cover, but the tie down strap is about 2.5 feet too short. Hoping I can get a second one or the correct size to improve the rating.

Sandbox cover
It fit perfectly. I like the strap that goes around outside of the sandbox to keep in place and from blowing away and keeping water out. Love that has handles to lift off.
