Carpenter Square Hole Scribing Ruler

Already know I will like it. It was reviewed by an excellent You Tube woodworker's channel I have found very informative. He does a lot of tool reviews and frequently features "price drops and specials". Channel is called 731 woodworks.

Accurate at 90, verified by my machinist square. I saw one dum dum getting angles that were off by a few degrees, but it turned out they were indexing off the cap end of the peg by mistake. Luckily no one else was around to see me do it. :P Once used properly, the angles measured dead on according to my carpenter square. I'd call this a fine tool at a great value.

Comes disassembled. Fits together tightly. Sturdy, easy to read, and use. Works well for 4x4 posts

Arrived in excellent condition in its plastic case with foam insets.. some reviews I read before purchasing had me a little hesitant... Fit an finish was great, no play an everything fit flush when assembled an square. I seen the dimensions listed an wasn't surprised at the size when I received it , which I find will work great for what I intend in my shop.

Works well it’s a little small but for my needs it work great

For the price, this is a very nice square / line marker. After reading some of the reviews, it's easy to see why some have the problem of the side rail not being perfectly inline with the main body. There is a small amount of play in the connection before it's tightened. If the screws are put in loosely and then you put it on a known flat surface - you should then be able to tighten the screws and the two pieces will be aligned. After tightening the screws, the connection seems solid, stable and aligned.
