It's a Brompton. Great fold, dependable, and a classic
The 2 speed comes with gearing intended for flat commutes. If you have hills you will need to change out the front chain ring or get a model with a wider gear range. The stock pedals are adequate for smaller feet. The pedals are average quality, and terribly inefficient for larger feet. Not a very costly place to upgrade. The brakes are barely adequate. I'm going to switch out stock pads for ones recommended on Reddit forums by many contributors on that useful subreddit. The pedals are a forgiveable item that is lacking, the brake pads are not. For the money the bike costs, the pads should be the best available, and perhaps change the brakes to a more powerful and effective system. It's a great folding bike. Sturdy. Folds to a very manageable size. Those are the two main selling points, sturdy and great fold. The Brompton name and classic look are a selling point, but it's a insignificant point for people that want ride quality far more than to a look a certain way on the road. Especially when nearly all motorists will dislike sharing the road with you no matter what your bike looks like. If you barely ride at all, or don't need the fold to be as small as the Brompton, I'd suggest spending less money on another brand like Tern or Zizzo or Dahon. Especially if you weigh very little. Smaller, lighter bike users can do well with bikes that would give taller heavier riders issues with durability.
