It is VERY hard... in trying to soften it up, by opening the case to loosen the particles, the particles are loose in the air, which makes me think it's toxic to your lungs. BE CAREFUL! Plus, this company had it advertised, buy 1, get 1 free. When I didn't get my 2nd one, I asked for it based on the description for such - this is what they sent to me - as though I was asking for something that was not posted!! ***Dear Sharon, For good measures, we'll send you one free pillow and nothing more. You are getting a pillow for $12.99 the cheapest pillow for the quality. You insist on a more on a written promotion that doesn't have the same price. We have been losing money with this product. We do take care of our customers. You can return the product if you don't like it. HOWEVER (and it's a big however), it did not arrive as pictured. It was compressed to 1/2" and rolled, about the size of a football ... a little longer. I had to pull the shreds of foam apart, which was not an easy job and took almost an hour. I had to build my own pillow!!!!That being said ... it is now one of the most comfortable pillows I've ever had, and I'm sleeping well again. ### ⭐ Absolutely horrible.
