The main reason of purchasing this cordless blower was to replace my gas blowers that I have difficult time starting them whenever I have to use them. I don’t have to go through that pain anymore. No more fingers due to pulling of the strings and missed time doing the task on time. The cost is a little bit high specially the battery was not included and I have to purchase batteries separately because I misunderstood the feature that was on the print on the box showing “20/60V compatible”. And I have a lot of 20V batteries, but then when I tried to put any of them they will not fit. I tried to contact the seller and the manufacturer but no luck. It took Amazon Customer Representative action before the seller and manufacturer contacted me for a simple verification of the feature that I misunderstood. That is not acceptable. Amazon has to mediate for a customer issue on the product is really annoying. At any rate, I found out the 20/60V flex is backward compatible not the blower. I didn’t have a choice but to purchase the 20/60 flex batteries, which us another misleading selling point. It’s states it last for 45 min of use if fully charged but when I used it it lasted only 15min on high blower output. The blower itself performs great and was very satisfied, the noise is as advertised, well below the threshold of 85 db of continued use, and more than adequate to blow all the leaf or debris in my yard. I can safely say this blower is capable and comparable to gas blower of its size. But when the cost battery is added then that is another story.

This blower is such a pleasure to use. I have been using it for several years. It is powerful, light weight and durable. Held about 8 inches above water compacted, matted debris, it tears up the debris and whirls it away. I keep a large area around our home looking spic and span, including about 100 feet of sidewalk, a 20 x 30 ft stable with concrete floor, two brick patios 40 x 20 ft each, and a concrete-brick pool deck about 10 x 20 ft. For this I use approximately 1.25 battery packs running the blower at full force. Each batter pack takes about 40 minutes to recharge. I like think how cool this will be when we get solar PV panels to charge the batteries with the energy of today's sunlight, and think of this sun power as it creates a powerful wind to save me a lot of time and energy and make everything neat. This tool really saves a lot of time and labor and makes everything look clean and clear. I highly recommend it.

Received this yesterday. I have three Flex batteries. Each battery lasted 15-18 minutes. It does not have the power of a gas blower but it is sufficiently powerful. I was able to blow clods of dried caked mud and gravel off my driveway. My driveway is 1/10 of a mile long. I got half way through the driveway with the three batteries because of the amount of gravel. I have gas blowers, gas chain saws and weed whacker. The problem I have with the gassys is they are costly to maintain and require tune ups when they become hard to start. I now have Dewalt; chain, weed wacker and blower flexvolts. I've become a Dewalt garden powered tool aficionado.

This blower isn't bad for the time you get on a 60V battery. I probably got a good 30 minutes with extended trigger runs while walking up and down the driveway on my first run. The main shaft has a small bend at the end that points the nozzle to the right. I think the shaft can be rotated to point the nozzle the other way, but I haven't tried it yet. I wasn't expecting the bend, so I'll work with it. A feature I found problematic is the intake vent. If you hold the blower in your right hand, the vent sucks air in from the right side of the blower and is fine. However, if you hold the blower in your left hand, your pants leg is now right against the air intake and it draws in your clothing which blocks the air from getting in. I found the blower to be light and maneuverable. The built in stand on the bottom makes it convenient to set down w/o falling over. I like it and it holds a place for a quick cleanup. I use my backpack gas engine blower for the bigger and extended job, but still find this product useful.

I've been hesitant to switch to an electric blower but since I own DeWalt tools primarily, if figured it was worth a try, especially since I already had the 60v batteries for their string trimmer. I use the blower at least five times a week to clean off a 150 yard long driveway. This made it real easy, especially with the the variable speed trigger control.

This thing is a very powerful leaf blower. It rivals the power of some smaller gas leaf blowers. The only drawback is that it's noticeably heavier than the other DeWalt blowers and chews through batteries. It will go through my 9.0 mAh battery in 11-13minutes going full tilt. Compared to the other DeWalt 60 volt leaf blower (I have both--One in the shop and one on the garage) this unit is more ergonomic. It's the one I grab nine out of 10 times given the choice. It's a bit bulkier because of the cylindrical housing. But, it has a better balance and puts less strain on your arm. In fact, this is one my wife exclusively uses.

It does a great job blowing out my garage my driveway and patio it’s a lot nicer than gas blower I have 2 60 volt batteries to clean those areas batteries don’t last long but it is Light weight and powerful

This thing seems to suck the battery down fast. 10 minutes on it with a full Flexvolt 6.0AH battery. Mind you this was locked on for 10 solid minutes. If you're going on and off as you move around the yard it should last longer. I would recommend one of the bigger batteries if you have a significant area to do. Or buy more than one definitely. But it is plenty powerful enough to blow the leaves out of the gutter on the house!! Makes a mess on the ground that I simply have to blow away.

Muy util, ahorra tiempo y esfuerzo. Hasta para quitar el polvo en un carro. Buena potencia, tengo otra a gasolina y no le pide nada esta de batería, y sin necesidad de cebar o preparar la mezcla. La batería de 9 ah si rinde pero si se usa a maxima velocidad no va a durar mas que 15 mins y a medias dura mas. No es ruidosa. Noté que al apagar de golpe se escuchar como algunos engranes y opté por apagar lentamente y así no se escucha nada.
