Best Artificial English 200cm / 7ft Ivy Garland Hanging Vine String Plant - IL03 (2)

I have a little room, once a porch, at the back of my home overlooking my garden. I call it my 'Breakfast Room' as I have a breakfast bar there and some built-in cupboards. I wanted something, apart from real plants, to connect my Breakfast Room (which is always in danger of turning into a junk room) to the garden so I have looped some of this artificial ivy over a gold-coloured curtain rod that goes over the wide window. I have inserted one end of the ivy garland into a little pot as if it is real ivy growing from the pot. Obviously, it's not going to fool many into believing it is really ivy but it looks really good, I think. I grow a lot of real ivy in pots in my garden so I know what real ivy looks like. This is brighter but the leaf size is about right for my purposes and it is not too bright. I also like the irregularities in the pattern on the leaves. This gives my little room a lovely, cheery, 'conservatory' feel to it. I like so much that I have done the same over my kitchen window.The garland itself is delicate in that the plastic on which the silky (artificial fabric) leaves are held is quite fine. This makes it ideal for twisting and draping. It would also make it easy for someone that wanted to cut up the plastic for other purposes.I bought 6 x 7ft garlands to drape over curtain roads that, together, measure about 12ft.I think also that the garland would be washable if you put it into a soapy water and gently hand wash by agitation. I know you can wet it because I accidentally dangled one end into a washing up bowl, full of soapy water, while draping it above the kitchen sink. !!!I recommend it. It's cheery and fun.

SO happy with my artificial ivy, I was worried it wouldn't look Christmassy enough for my kitchen beam but it looks so good! I've just mixed some artificial holly within it, you get so much ivy for your money, this isn't even all of the ivy and it's on the other side of the beam also! Really happy with this product! Not too shiny like some of the other products on the market.Product quality: 4*The leaves are quite nice, but it is the vines that let it down IF you are looking for a realistic product. The vines look obviously plastic and bright green. This could be a plus if you just want a nice bright looking product.The product is very light but durable. I have trailed several of these, intertwining across my bathroom ceiling to give a very green rainforest look. Visitors often make really nice comments. As you'd expect, the room becomes quite steamy during shower times, but not mould has grown on the product. I think it'd be suitable for most environments, inside and out without issue.Price: 3*Average price compared to other alternatives on the market.Seller: 5*This product is better than most of the alternatives as they look more appealing - varied texture on the leaves, not too shiny and quite sturdy.Recommended.

I bought these to finish off a Poison Ivy costume as they were cheap and cheerful. They served their purpose and really gave my costume that extra edge, but the leaves were prone to coming off with only the faintest of knocks.If you are buying these to dress furniture and they won't be moved, they'll be fine. However if you are using them as any kind of moveable prop, don't expect them to last long as the the leaves will come off very quickly.

... Much longer than I thought it would be! OK, up close it is artificial ivy - but it will be perfect for decorating the stall at our christmas fair along with the addition of some holly berries. Great price for the item and delivered quickly. Thank you.

this is really lovely. It came very quickly. I just had 2 7ft strands and have draped them round the top of a sawn off tree trunk which we have made into a fairy house. We have put solar lights among the ivy and it just finishes the whole thing off. A very good buy.

I think this is okay for the price. Shopped around flower shopsand garden centres and the prices were ridiculous so I decided to try this.I purchased 3 and they are fine. I used them for decorating door wreaths and so far they haven't beenaffected by the weather.

Look good, a few leaves have fallen as it came from the package, but I expected this item to be cheaply made so am not really disturbed, though I shall be if autumn has come for this ivy and I end up with just a long knobbly length of plastic too soon.
