The #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling series is hotter than ever, and this thrilling conclusion to the Lost Continent Prophecy arc is a must-read! With talons united... Luna has always wanted to change the world -- to fix it, to free it -- even if she’s never actually known how. Now that all of dragon- and humankind are in mortal danger, Luna is flying back home to Pantala with a team of dragons on a rescue mission, determined to be brave and useful. But saving a continent isn’t as easy as a prophecy makes it sound, and "facing a great evil" definitely requires more than the fiery silk that Luna is uniquely able to create. As she fights her way to the abyss that hides the dark roots poisoning Pantala, Luna must uncover a long-buried secret and unite her friends, her enemies, and her own powers. If she doesn’t, she won’t get to change the world. She’ll have to say goodbye to it -- forever. Review: An Epic Finale That Had My 12-Year-Old Hooked! - My 12-year-old was counting down the days for this book to arrive—and it did not disappoint. The Flames of Hope is the thrilling conclusion to the Lost Continent Prophecy arc, and it had my kid completely absorbed from page one. Luna’s journey is powerful and inspiring, especially for young readers who love stories about bravery, friendship, and finding your voice. The action is intense, the emotional moments are beautifully written, and the world of Pantala feels more alive than ever. My child was especially drawn to Luna’s unique silk powers and her determination to unite dragons and save her world. It sparked so many creative ideas and even led to some dragon-themed drawings and storytelling of their own. This book wrapped up the arc in a way that felt satisfying and exciting, and it’s now one of their top favorites in the series. If your child is a Wings of Fire fan, this one is an absolute must-read. Review: A Fiction Book That Gives Awareness. AMAZING! - My daughter just finished reading this book and she LOVED it. She said "It's SOOO amazing!" And the thing is, one of daughters favorite characters is Lizard/Freedom. I'm not going to spoil anything, but this is a lot like average humans. :) "I mean like: Cricket and Blue and Luna and....Pineapple?! Oh my gosh!" she had said. When my daughter first got the book, she told me that many of the reviews said that this book was bad because of they/them pronouns. You can parent any way you want to parent, but just substitute the pronoun with the name. Instead of saying "They said they can show us the way,", just read it in your mind as "Axolotl knows the way." It's not that hard! And I personally think that the lesbian relationship with Sundew & Willow is really cute, and the fact that it isn't mentioned in this book much is good because it focuses on the main character of the story: Luna. And to all of the parents who got missing or torn-up pages in the book, I got mine new, clean, freshly made, and with the right and perfect amount of pages. It was amazing, no matter if your child reading is 8 years old or 13 years old. I think kids should be aware of changes in the world, and Tui T. Sutherland did it in an amazing and creative way! I can't wait to see what fun adventures humans and dragons will have in their next book. I won't spoil any ideas I and others might have of the new book, if there will be one published, but I think this is one of the most books that my daughter has been so invested in reading. She stayed up late one school night just to finish the epilogue! I hope you and your children enjoy this book as much as my daughter did.

Good book but….
I feel that it was a little disappointing considering how excited I was to get this book nonetheless it was decent I only had 3 problems with the plot the first is that there was not that much character development I thought because of how Luna felt about hive wings in the beginning there would be a lot of character development but sadly there was hardly any my second minor problem is that everyone kinda Brushes off freedom/lizards death which is really sad :( and my main problem is that it jumps for being long winded and dragging out for a long time to being rushed but thease are just my opinions so I don’t want it to affect the overall review because in all honesty I love the books (it’s just that I didn’t like Luna as much as I thought and would and the reasons stated above) but would definitely buy this book because it’s very interesting but not for the younger ones (lol) because of the sad death of freedom and the weird cave creacher (it gave me nightmares lol) (AGAIN no hate :) it’s just I saw Luna through the eyes of blue so I didn’t see her opinion on moon/cricket but I am glad she approved of cricket in the end and I look forward to seeing more character development :D

There are many timely concepts that readers of all ages can learn and grow from
This book, much like the rest of the arc, tackles many difficult concepts like the effects of oppression, how much oppressors are at fault, and moral dilemmas. However it is digestible and lays out the concepts in a way that doesn’t feed you all the answers and let’s you think on your own when parts of the story parallel our real world. As a someone who is studying sociology, I can appreciate the level of research and care was taken to delicately handle these subjects in a way that doesn’t antagonize or belittle certain groups of people. I grew up reading the WoF series and I can say it has sharpened my critical thinking skills. There is also a ton of lore and history in this book that fans will love and the new characters are very fascinating and memorable. As for all of the “woke” concepts these other reviews mention… it’s not anywhere near as bad as they make it out to be. Any same-sex ship is treated just like any heterosexual ship. They simply just exist and serve their purpose just like every other relationship shown in media. There is nothing overtly sexual about it. Purely wholesome. And as for the gender-neutral character, I find it baffling that people are upset over their existence as well. I appreciate their inclusion and wish that there were books that had such characters in books when I was younger so I could familiarize myself with how their pronouns work in everyday sentences.

Good overall
Although I do think the ending came pretty quick, I loved this story. I hope she keeps writing more because I want to know what happened after all this! I loved the brief fly over struggling with depression and dissociation and showed that it’s not just you struggling with it and even shows how a different character deals with it. I do feel like this book was different than the others but I don’t think it was in a bad way. I hope we can get more backstories and “legend” books as we go along. I can’t wait for the tv show

Awesomeness
This book was absolutely amazing! I stayed up late into the night reading, and finished it in one day. *spoiler alerts* Luna was a awesome protagonist and I loved how she cares so much for other dragons. The reveal of the “other mind” was interesting. You never really knew what it was before and having a human as the main villain was definitely a plot twist. Lizards story was heart wrenching and when she was freed from the plant and got her new name I cried. I found a lot of symbolism in the book related to things that go on today. Like how the humans are really the ones to blame but cover it up and point the finger in the other direction. As for some of the concerns that others have about the book. If you don’t like the books don’t read ‘em. Plain and simple. Lots of people like it and it’s ok that you might not. But don’t spoil the experience for others. There are plenty of books that would fit your preferences. This book was great. And I hope it’s not the last of this fantastic series. Have a good day.

Good for children
I brought this book for my 12 years old daughter, and she absolutely enjoyed it. Other than books, I also get her the comic as well. She would read it over and over again and sometimes she will ask me about different character names they use in the book. (of course I wouldn't know it). Overall, this is a wonderful series and I would recommend it.

Pessimo
