## Description

The #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling series is hotter than ever, and this thrilling conclusion to the Lost Continent Prophecy arc is a must-read! With talons united... Luna has always wanted to change the world -- to fix it, to free it -- even if she’s never actually known how. Now that all of dragon- and humankind are in mortal danger, Luna is flying back home to Pantala with a team of dragons on a rescue mission, determined to be brave and useful. But saving a continent isn’t as easy as a prophecy makes it sound, and "facing a great evil" definitely requires more than the fiery silk that Luna is uniquely able to create. As she fights her way to the abyss that hides the dark roots poisoning Pantala, Luna must uncover a long-buried secret and unite her friends, her enemies, and her own powers. If she doesn’t, she won’t get to change the world. She’ll have to say goodbye to it -- forever.

Review: An Epic Finale That Had My 12-Year-Old Hooked! - My 12-year-old was counting down the days for this book to arrive—and it did not disappoint. The Flames of Hope is the thrilling conclusion to the Lost Continent Prophecy arc, and it had my kid completely absorbed from page one. Luna’s journey is powerful and inspiring, especially for young readers who love stories about bravery, friendship, and finding your voice. The action is intense, the emotional moments are beautifully written, and the world of Pantala feels more alive than ever. My child was especially drawn to Luna’s unique silk powers and her determination to unite dragons and save her world. It sparked so many creative ideas and even led to some dragon-themed drawings and storytelling of their own. This book wrapped up the arc in a way that felt satisfying and exciting, and it’s now one of their top favorites in the series. If your child is a Wings of Fire fan, this one is an absolute must-read.
Review: A Fiction Book That Gives Awareness. AMAZING! - My daughter just finished reading this book and she LOVED it. She said "It's SOOO amazing!" And the thing is, one of daughters favorite characters is Lizard/Freedom. I'm not going to spoil anything, but this is a lot like average humans. :) "I mean like: Cricket and Blue and Luna and....Pineapple?! Oh my gosh!" she had said. When my daughter first got the book, she told me that many of the reviews said that this book was bad because of they/them pronouns. You can parent any way you want to parent, but just substitute the pronoun with the name. Instead of saying "They said they can show us the way,", just read it in your mind as "Axolotl knows the way." It's not that hard! And I personally think that the lesbian relationship with Sundew & Willow is really cute, and the fact that it isn't mentioned in this book much is good because it focuses on the main character of the story: Luna. And to all of the parents who got missing or torn-up pages in the book, I got mine new, clean, freshly made, and with the right and perfect amount of pages. It was amazing, no matter if your child reading is 8 years old or 13 years old. I think kids should be aware of changes in the world, and Tui T. Sutherland did it in an amazing and creative way! I can't wait to see what fun adventures humans and dragons will have in their next book. I won't spoil any ideas I and others might have of the new book, if there will be one published, but I think this is one of the most books that my daughter has been so invested in reading. She stayed up late one school night just to finish the epilogue! I hope you and your children enjoy this book as much as my daughter did.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good book but….
*by N***T on August 26, 2022*

I feel that it was a little disappointing considering how excited I was to get this book nonetheless it was decent I only had 3 problems with the plot the first is that there was not that much character development I thought because of how Luna felt about hive wings in the beginning there would be a lot of character development but sadly there was hardly any my second minor problem is that everyone kinda Brushes off freedom/lizards death which is really sad :( and my main problem is that it jumps for being long winded and dragging out for a long time to being rushed but thease are just my opinions so I don’t want it to affect the overall review because in all honesty I love the books (it’s just that I didn’t like Luna as much as I thought and would and the reasons stated above) but would definitely buy this book because it’s very interesting but not for the younger ones (lol) because of the sad death of freedom and the weird cave creacher (it gave me nightmares lol) (AGAIN no hate :) it’s just I saw Luna through the eyes of blue so I didn’t see her opinion on moon/cricket but I am glad she approved of cricket in the end and I look forward to seeing more character development :D
