This thing is awesome! I have one mounted under a desk and one on the back of a monitor. Very versatile and very sturdy. The only thing I wish was different was the set screw being farther from the power but that is the Dell computer's design issue. It can make it difficult to set the security screw though.

The description says it only fits the Dell OptiPlex micro PC, but since the HP micro PC is the same size as the Dell, it's also a good fit for that. It really tidies up the desk where I have two of those micro PCs installed.But it is not compatible with monitors that have a 75X75 VESA mounting pattern. It's only designed for 100X100. So to make it work with a 75X75, I had to drill some extra holes. It would have been so easy for them to add those extra holes in the manufacturing process. That was enough of an inconvenience that it loses 2 stars just for that.

I used this on a Dell 7070 Micro tower and worked out perfectly. It is very well designed and comes with an assortment of screws and everything you would need to mount this to the back of a VESA monitor, underneath or beside a desk. It was impressive the number of screws it came with. I actually mounted this to the back of my mothers 2009 22 inch dell model 2209 monitor and I was shocked that it even would mount to that. It did require some modifications however to fit just right. I am actually on the hunt for another monitor stand that is higher than her stand included with the monitor as it was way too short since I don't have the monitor sitting on her desktop computer any longer. There is even just enough space to tuck the DVI cord to displayport in the side for a super clean install setup. The neat thing is that this slides effortlessly in and out should one ever need to pull the power for servicing but there is a tab on it to keep it secure on the back. I am loving the setup the HumanCentric Vesa Mount offered and the ability to keep her desk super neat and tidy and I am sure she appreciates it too!

This mount comes packed in a box with all of the hardware necessary to mount it behind your monitor, onto your wall, or under your desk. It even comes with an awesome set of directions, by far the best I've seen in a while. I chose to mount mine behind my monitor.The installation went smoothly. Good parts with great directions are a pleasure to work with. I installed the mount to my monitor, then attached the assembly to my monitor stand.It was when I went to install my computer that I realized my Optiplex 7010 was a little too tall and a little too wide for the mount. I was crushed! I checked the product description and did not see 7010. It was on me. Double bummer. Apparently all Optiplex micro computers are not the same. Sadness.While it didn't work out for me, it did install easily, and the directions provided were super-clear and easy to understand. I may never get a computer to fit into this mount, but I haven't removed it either.
