Unboxed gift?
I am disappointed that this item was not boxed as it wasn't cheap, although it looks that way. This is a Christmas gift for my grandson so not too impressed

Who can resist the charm of Anguirus? Not me, even though with this particular recent version of the figure, there are no nice yellow highlights on the little horns on Anguirus's legs. The rest of the details of this figure are wonderful as usual, and the size is nice and generous. I was saddened that there was a big spot at the end of the white horn on Anguirus's nose that had not been painted (or that had had the still-wet paint rubbed off of it by accident) -- see photo. The rest of the details of the head are so wonderful, and I want to be able to pour over it all with my eyes, but instead I have to keep trying to skip over the very most front-and-centre part of it because of its blemish. For a toy of this price point, I can forgive one or two inconspicuous paint mistakes, but a mistake like this one hurts.
