I bought this for my nephew and I'm so glad I did! This is really cool. He can play his music through the Bluetooth speakers and fall asleep watching the "stars" on the ceiling. I'm not a fan of the "star" part. They are just a bunch of green led dots but the auroras are very cool. You can display them in different colors and they shine on the ceiling above you. It is a very calming effect. My nephew loves it!

This Star Projector Galaxy Night Light looks wonderful operating as is, with no lights on in the room. This can work as a night light, to set the tone when meditating, to help assist in falling asleep, and to give a calming ambiance to your room. The bluetooth speaker works okay, but it's not the highlight of the unit. The stars are fairly bright, yet grid-like, possibly due to the way it was manufactured and made.This would be a perfect gift for a boy 8-17, or any adult for that matter!My only real complaint about the unit is how unnaturally "boxy" the stars look - very much like a perfect grid. There is enough separation to see the aurora, which too is fairly bright. This is one of those type of "toys" I wish I had as a kid. In fact, as an adult, it does bring out the kid in me.By the way, the stars are random and not an actual representation of the constellations.

We got this for our sons bedroom as he really likes having a nightlight but we know not just a normal nightlight! The astronaut theme is fun, the head is removable like a fun toy, multiple color options and brightness options too. Great as a nightlight but it can also connect as a speaker too! Can make a great gift!
